Several years ago, I bought the Room Essentials maple dresser, bookcase, and desk in-store for my apartment. They are still in excellent condition. Now that I moved and have more space, I decided to purchase 2 nightstands to match these furniture pieces and I was extremely pleased to have found them online. The nightstands arrived in good condition and they were so easy to put together. However, the only problem I came across was that one piece of the drawer was missing. I called the toll free
number to get the piece replaced but received the wrong one. I called again and I am still waiting for my piece to arrive. They are quick to respond to any inconveniences. I would have otherwise given this item 5 stars.
I think they are a little expensive for what they are which is the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, but I really like them. Unlike others' experience on here, I thought it was not too bad to put together--it took a while, but wasn't hard. They look exactly as pictured and seem pretty sturdy. I highly recommend them.
this is inexpensive but is sturdy! we had bought my son a head board and a chest of drawers several years ago, and they D/C the set it was this same color, now that he is 10 he wanted a nightstand for his IPOD stuff I was lucky to come across this as it matchs perfect. Its really sturdy if its for children who are old enough to take care of it, or for Adults I dont think you will be dissappointed, easily assembled and looks nice.
I like the nightstand. It is simple and goes with the other furniture in my room. It was a little difficult to put together. The directions were not very clear. There was also a screw missing that I needed and extra of other hardware that I did not need. Fortunately I had some other screws that worked in its place. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Very pleased with this nightstand! Corners and edges are smooth and rounded; finish is attractive and blends well with other natural finish pieces. Assembly was a little more involved than I had expected, but still not difficult. Everything lined up perfectly, including pre-drilled holes, and the assembly process resulted in a very sturdy piece of furniture, (unlike other quick-to-assemble pieces I've put together!) The only thing I didn't like was a rather unattractive drawer pull, but that wa

The look and construction of this piece is excellent. It didn't take too long to put together and so far it's been very sturdy. I am very pleased with the purchase.
We ordered two of them (one for each side of the bed). One was missing the handle, left wall and one wooden dowel. The second was missing the bottom of the drawer and both wooden dowels. Between the two we ordered, we did get one full unit...
My husband and I bought two of these night stands when we first got married around 6 years ago when we didn't have much money. They still look brand new. We both keep a coaster in our drawer to sit drinks on, so the finish won't be ruined by water. The drawers move nicely. We also have the matching armoire that I can't seem to find on the website anymore. But, it is still in great shape also. We plan to move them to our guest room since we plan to upgrade to a king size mattress and buy a new b
edroom set soon.
