As many of the other reviews indicate, it took forever to assemble. Not enough glue was supplied to ensure that all the pieces would stay together. I too, removed the "I" support as the unit was way too wobbly ...

I ordered this item online on a thursday and received it the following tuesday. Upon opening the box i found that one of the bottles of glue had been crushed and ruined several pieces. The local Target store happily exchanged the entire carton for a new one which was perfect. Assembly took about 2 1/2 hours. Not difficult just time consuming. Definitely recommend spending a couple dollars on a good bottle of wood glue. There are 3 small bottles that come with it but the glue was very watery. On
ly problem with assembly was one part where wooden dowels go through the same hole from opposite sides. The dowels hit each other which kept the pieces from assembling properly. Had to use a saw to cut the dowels shorter.
My spouse and I have been battling our growing pile of clothes for some time now, and I spotted this gem on sale in the weekly ad. I proposed it to my spouse this morning and we picked it up this afternoon. He spent about 4 hours putting it together with very little assistance from me. It looks fantastic in our room. We haven't had any balancing trouble because it's on a hard wood floor. The depth and height are perfect. Really pleased with this purchase. Can't wait to put our clothes away in i

It took my fiance and I all day to put this item together only to discover that in the shipping process pieces had been broken.[$], which includes[$] for shipping we didn't expect, is way too much to pay for a product that took too much time and effort and doesn't look great. I would not recommend that anyone buy this product.
ok i bought this even though the reviews warned my I would be making a big mistake. I spent way less and bought it when it was on sale. I put it together myself and we had two... it took me all day. but I took my time to make sure it was sturdy. my husband tried to help and got fustrated and put the legs on backwards but u cant see it. we do not over stuff the drawers and they have worked great. we usually buy from [...] and they drawers are always done within 6 months but not this sturdy rock
. solid. plus they look great. super dark- but it works. simple design, the dark color, the price makes my husband call these bad boys "s-xy". the fact I put it together I am sure helps.
Apalling, do not buy this - save yourself the trouble

It took me and another person 6 hours to put this together, the wooden dowel pins used to connect the pieces do not fit correctly resulting in the pieces not fitting together seamlessly, even once fully assembled - i had to skip the backboards as the unit became too wide and the backboard would not stay in place - as there was space between where each of the pieces connected - The unit is also now wider than it is meant to be and does not fit into the space i intended it too. Also - screws in 3
places actually permeated the wood and you can see this on the outside of the piece.
Target customer service was completely useless. While the fully assembled unit looks similar to the picture, i am counting the days until it falls apart. I have never come across home assembly furniture that is this difficult to assemble. Save yourself the trouble and either spend a little more for a ready assembled chest, or go to [competitor]
purchased this and a chest of drawers and 2 night stands. We followed directions exactly and only had one mistake which was quickly corrected. Took us about 2 days to put together all 4 pieces but the end result was worth it. The secret is to be sure to read the directions and have a second person with you. The dresser took 2 people and the chest of drawers as well. Night stands were put together by my husband alone. The cost of all 4 pieces was under [$]. This was a very good deal,
good quality and it looks great. The young men at the store were also great as they took great care putting this in our van and telling us that they would be over to help at some point. lol Thank you Target. Well done,
So I bought this on 8/31 after reading all the reviews. I prepared myself for the worst. Um, me and my husband put it together in 3 hours, and that was with taking breaks etc. There were alot of screws, I sorted them all into bowls. The longest part was putting all the drawers together, once we got this done it was super easy. Alot of people complained about the glue- I actually liked that. I have bought plenty of furniture where it goes together the exact same way and required no glue- I thi
nk the glue gives it more sturdiness in a way. Your still uring screws its not like all your doing is gluing the drawers together. We did opt to leave the base of the bottom as this is going on carpet and we didnt want to chance the wobble. All in all we love it, it looks great in our bedroom and is exactly what we were looking for without breaking the bank. Oh and finally the color is alot darker then it appears online. Its almost a black color which is what I wanted,
i bought this dresser yesterday after pouring over the reviews beforehand. i was prepared for the assembly to be atrocious but it was a breeze! i'm 7 1/2 months pregnant and assembled it in 3 hours by myself. in fact, i can't even figure out why they say 2 people are required except to maybe get the box to the room. all of the screws and such were a bit intimidating at first, but i sorted them into individual baggies and that worked like a charm for organization. overall this dresser is great i
n our nursery, especially for the price!
We bought this dresser over a year ago and it still looks great! My husband put it together by himself in 2 or 3 hours, while watching a movie to keep from getting too bored!!! He didn't have much difficulty with it at all, and it looks fantastic! We've only had the dresser for the last year or so, but will be buying the matching pieces after we move to a larger house because we've liked it so much. I highly recommend this piece! Some people are complaining that it's made out of particle board,
but what can you expect for this price? It is some of the most beautiful particle board furniture you will see! If you want REAL wood, you definitely don't want this piece. But if you're looking for something inexpensive and sturdy that still looks nice, this is the way to go! Also, when it's all put together, it looks like a very quality, expensive piece of furniture!
