The lamp shade is slightly dented but I decorated it with ribbon for a nursery so it is not too much of a problem. If I had not done anything with the shade it would have really bothered me.

This lamp is very basic. It goes with about any decor which I like. It's not very tall, but it really lights up a room. The only downfall is the lampshade is made out of some cheap cardboard, so it easily gets bent. It's a little overpriced for the quality, but I still enjoy this lamp.

This light is an excellent value! It's simple modern design works well in an office, boys room or living room. The black shade illuminates with a soft glow when lit. Well made for price! It exceeded my expectations and looks perfect in my boy's room.

While this is a nice looking lamp, it doesn't provide as much light as I would like. But that is maybe because of the black lampshade. Oops. But it was easy to assemble. And works just fine.

I love the look of the lamp and it has very good build quality just a lot shorter than expected i dont like being taller than my lamps BUt great quality and awesome looks

A floor lamp in black or with black accents was on a gift list - this lamp exceeded expectations - was a big hit with recipient. Very satisfied with purchase.

The lamp looks good in our nursery. When you turn the light on the shade does not look black anymore though.

This lamp was very easy to assemble. Fits well in my modern decor theatre room. I used low voltage bulbs which give off just the right amount light with the black shade.

Feels a little flimsy, but ok. Wish it was a tad brighter. Lamp shade looks cool when the light is on - glows and some light peeps through.
