I bought this futon for college. Set up was easy. However, I cannot get it to fold back down. I have tried pushing it forward and then pulling back from many angles. [...] Part of why I bought it was that it converted to ... see more

I bought this to use as a bed and couch while my real furniture was on order. I used it for both for about a month and now use it as an extra bed for guests. Its compact and has a cute design, hard to find at this price point. Two adults will have a hard time sleeping on this, but for one it is pretty good. It is also a pretty comfy couch, though be careful if you sit on the end of it, it will flip up if you do!

well, this is a 2-3 star futon....i needed something temporary, wanted something inexpensive and this has been fulfilling that function.....simple as that!....if you're looking for a 'hidden gem' then this surely isn't it.... my futon essentially 'broke' where i could no longer put it back down.... i came here to this site if there were any tips on how to fix but there weren't.... i came up with a technique and thought would contribute for the next person that runs into the same problem who mi ght be interested in fixing it.... problem- the futon would no longer fold down/lie flat anymore solution- I found that I had to bend it to fold the back all the way down. this caused it to click and created freedom in the futon for it it to be able to loosen its spring to lie all the way flat. hope that helps.... good luck

I want to love this couch it's a nice enough buy for the money, but it does flip on-end if you sit too close to the edges. A hardware misery and with disagreeable folks around, you may not appreciate that wayward feature. Nice for careful folks, but flawed somehow. Kids will love it.

It is so small. Only half of my back is actually on the couch portion of the futon. I guess you get what you pay for. Its pretty cute looking, just small. I also cannot get it to go down to a bed?

I bought this futon less than 6 months ago, and it is now impossible to sleep on due to discomfort. It feels like I'm sleeping on boards. All of the cushion is gone. For the price, it wasn't that bad. It's a nice looking piece of furniture, but if you plan on using this as your bed regularly, as I did, I suggest you spend some more money and invest in a higher quality futon. Also, be careful! If you have hardwood floors, purchase covers for the feet of this futon. They left huge scratches in my floor!

This was the best purchase I have ever made. As we are have gotten rid of everything getting ready for our new home but needed some thing to temporally hold us over until we move to our new place. I bought this thinking we would use it for a couple of months and get rid of it. How wrong I was we will be using this in the den of our new house! Its very comfortable easy to keep clean we have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Its perfect for a teenagers room or a bonus room. I would recommend this to any one! Lo ve Target!

It's a very cheap futon. Very hard, even after using it for more than one year. The springs started coming out of the futon from the bottom shortly after purchase and it has continued to do so. Without the springs intact, the seats have sunken in many areas. It is very hard to put the back down, I usually need someone else to help me. I would not recommend this unless it's just a temporally seating arrangement.

It looked nice, didn't smell funny, or have any critters hiding in it. The mattress was a bit firm, but it seemed durable. I banged it around a bit struggling with the mattress, and didn't do any damage that I could see. It took my full body weight in pushing the mattress forward to release the gauges that hold the back in place. It supported my 190 lbs of weight well on the edges and in the middle. It assembled easily. This is a fairly cheap item, so it may be a hit or miss in terms of q uality. If you have any of the problems that were listed in the below reviews, just return it. I called ahead, and they sent a Team Member to help me unload the item. I explained what happened, and I received a full refund.

I shopped and shopped-I found this at my local store and loved it so much I went and bought another. I use them in a corner and they look like a modern sectional. They are low to the ground and the fabric is a microsuede, but it is perfect for my needs. My husband and I have slept on them and they are serviceable. A younger person might find them more suitable for sleeping. I love them and my guestroom/studio/office look extremely stylish.
