Rowenta makes a good product while they are working which isn't very long. Third Rowenta Iron with major problems. Doesn't matter how much you pay for their irons they don't last. This model leaks from the handle and the sole plate. Too bad Rowenta doesn't stand behind their products. [...]

My previous iron, also a Rowenta, served me faithfully for years. After it stopped working last week, I went out and bought this iron. I've used it all of 3 times and now it won't even heat up. The iron, for whatever reason, refuses to leave auto-off mode. I'm willing to give another Rowenta iron a shot. It just won't be this particular model.

After having bad experience with the [...], I love this iron. It steams great, heats up great, and I ironed my shirts quickly.

I bought this iron, 3 months ago. The auto off works at all time, the steamer decides when it wants to work or not, it does build calcium on it and the auto clean is pretty bad. Choose another one because this one is worst iron I have ever tried [...]. Also is pretty heavy, so if you are planning to iron more than five (5) pieces at the time you will get tired

My new neice by marriage was thrilled to recieve the Rowenta iron as a bridal shower gift. It arrived in time for her bridal shower, packaged and taggged with my personal card. The shower was held out of state and I couldn't attend. Target made it happen for me to be there in spirit.ThanksHappy New Out of State Aunt

We received this iron as a wedding gift about a year and a half ago and it died within a couple of months. It doesn't heat up at all-its worthless. We probably used it a total of two times before it stopped working. I heard such great things about this brand and this iron did not live up to the reputation.

This is the best iron that I have ever used in 20 years. It gets out wrinkles perfectly like no other [brand] ever did. I iron my husbands khakis after they come out of the dryer and it perfectly steams out every wrinkle around the pockets in the front and back and around the fly. I've never been able to effortlessly get out every single wrinkle in a shirt like this! I love this iron. It is worth every penny and you can tell it is made with quality. The cord is nice and long and the tail at the base of the iron stands up so that it doesn't get in the way of your ironing. It has a nice large water reservoir and only uses tap water so you don't have to go buy distilled water - a bonus. I highly recommend this iron.

I just purchased this iron. I filled it with water. It leaks from the handle. No, I did not over fill it. I even took more water out to make it stop. Thankfully I still have the receipt.

I thought I'd upgrade the quality of my iron and bought this Rowenta model 3 years ago. I've been pleased with it, wondering why I waited so long to upgrade - until yesterday when out of the blue the iron simply won't heat. All the normal temp lights are on, but no heat to the bottom plate. The less expensive irons I used in the past seemed to never die - and this one went kaput after 3 years. I am very disappointed.
