Bought this in Aug '09. Threw it in the dumpster in Dec '11. Hose unraveled, hot water started shooting out all over. I never liked the fact that there was no handle, the wheels aren't functional, the telescopic handle thing comes out super easily - stupid design. I was never impressed with this expensive tool. This is the 2nd steamer I've owned and my theory is to buy cheap and replace often because they all last about 2 years. I'm buying 50 dollar model now and I'll review that one when it's in the dumpster.

I bought the Rowenta garment steamer and was very disappointed with its performance. It took me over 15 minutes to steam a single shirt. I do not like ironing but I can definitely iron a shirt in less time. The steam is not enough to make the the wrinkles go away. I also tried to steam a different shirt using wrinkle release and the result still wasn't good.I end up returning mine and do not recommend this product.

Very practical for getting wrinkles off everything and in a matter of minutes. The only thing is that you have to be careful not to drop it cause it is a bit fragile and the steam won't come out as it should if it breaks.

This steamer is definitely not worth the money. I own a bridal shop and have had better quality steamers for less money. The cover on the hose started unravelling after only a couple of days, and the steamer started leaking water from the bottom after only a week. I'm definitely taking it back!

I have owned many Rowenta Steam Irons and love them... so when I was looking at Garment Steamers like this - I went with the Rowenta. I really like this product. I don't wheel it around the house - although the wheels seem good, the base is stable. I use it mainly for more delicate or dressier items... especially those items with lots of pleats, roushing, embellishments, etc. Ok with cotton items - but I prefer a traditional iron that can really get difficult wrinkles or add creases when you ne ed them. It heats up quickly and produces a lot of steam (be careful with your hands and grabbing the hose). I found it works best when you don't fill up the water resevior to the tip-top (it holds a lot of water!. Overall - good product.

TO START, THOUGHT THEY LOOK LIKE WHEELS ON THE BOTTOM. THEY DON'T EXACTLY ROLL LIKE WHEELS. SO YOU HAVE TO PULL IT FROM PLACE TO PLACE, OR PICK IT UP AND MOVE IT. A PAIN WHEN WHEN ARE STEAMING A BEDSKIRT. ALSO THERE IS NO HANDLE TO GRAB AND PICK IT UP FROM. IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS A HANDLE, BUT THAT IS ONLY TO TAKE OUT THE WATER RESEVOIR. SO EVERY TIME YOU GRAB THAT BY ACCIDENT BECAUSE YOUR BRAIN PERCEIVES IT AS THE HANDLE, YHOU REMOVE THE RESEVOIR AND HENCE GET WATER ON THE FLOOR. ALSO, WHEN THE HOSE GETS HOT FROM THE STEAM, IT GET LIMP, AND COLLAPSES SO THE STEAM CAN'T GET OUT OF THE HOSE. YOU PULL THE HOSE STRAIGHT AND HOT WATER SURGES OUT OF THE HEAD ONTO YOUR SILK DRESS. BECAUSE I TOOK OVER 90 DAYS TO RETURN. NOT AN ITEM YOU EXACTLY USE ALOT. IT ME 90 DAYS TO EVEN USE THE THING. TARGET WILL NOT TAKE IT BACK. THEY GIVE YOU AN 800 # TO CALL.(by the way, it was in India) THEN THE 800# CONFIRMS THAT BECAUSE IT IS OVER 90 DAYS, THEY CAN NOT TAKE IT BACK. SO,THEY GIVE YOU ANOTHER 800 # TO CALL ROWENTA CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO TELLS YOU THEY WILL NOT TAKE BACK THEIR POORLY DESIGNED PRODUCT, BUT THEY WILL SEND YOU A SPRING TO TRY TO CORRECT THE HOSE FROM BENDING AND COLLAPSING. BOTTOM LINE, YOU OWN IT NOW, TOO BAD.

This has been our worst product ever purchased. The steaming action works, however it is extremely hard to maneuver. The wheels do not turn or roll well & there is no handle to pull the steamer around. This means you have to pick it up to move to a different area. The water then spills out of the reservior all over the person carrying it & the floor.

I bought this from the store and tried it as soon as I got home. I had bought a wedding dress online which arrived so wrinkled it looked like someone crumpled it up in a ball to store it. This steamer got all the wrinkles out very easily. The fabric of my wedding dress is silk and lace with beading (layers and layers of it), so it was pretty heavy. This steamer worked right through all the layers with ease and did not harm the fabric in any way. I LOVE IT! I have saved so much money considering it costs a lot to have wedding dresses professionally pressed/steamed, plus I can keep using it on all my other clothes too.
