We couldn't afford an organic crib mattress, so we got this to add another layer of protection between the plastic-covered mattress and the baby in addition to our organic cotton sheets. It's soft, organic, and washes well. I love how it zips completely around the mattress. It's 100% certified organic cotton (no waterproofing), so I imagine I'd have to wash this as well as the sheet if baby has any leaks. Beyond that, it seems like a great product that should also protect and prolong the mattre ss life.

This was exactly what we were looking for. Snug fit, organic and protects the mattress from rubbing on the metal crib base for added longevity. Sheets and waterproof pad fit nicely around and is not to bulky.
