Only some of bed ever came! Kept corresponding with Target but even they couldn't get the rest of the bed shipped. Now it says that item is not available online any longer. I placed my order November the 16th and as of today, never got the bed together. It sits in pieces,what few came are now on my grand daughter's bedroom floor and she sleeps on the mattress that arrived promptly. After many emails/ debates Target gave me a full credit via a Target gift card. But now, a month later I can't re -order this bed because it's no longer available! And most of the others that would be suitable for use with her mattress aren't in stock. I guess we just start over elsewhere and I will slowly use up my Target refund on odds and ends. This incident has totally put me off of Target now. I do appreciate that the executive offices and two customer serv. reps were trying, but I just don't trust ordering from them again. THEY can't even obtain the rest of this beds parts via the bed manufacturer!

This bed also is fine we still use our box spring it's high but still very sturdy and a great bed!

This is a cute bed & priced great! We bought it for our 4 year old & she just loves it. Putting it together took about 2 hours & wasn't too bad. The main reason we picked this bed is because you don't need a box spring- just a mattress. Its lower to the ground so its perfect for little ones! Highly recommend!!!!

Bought this bed for me daughter it is really nice. The workmanship is good the bed is very sturdy. The only issue I have is that the bed is low. Other than that it is a very nice bed.

Also, the metal was rusty and bent. The holes that were not drilled all the way through had white dust coming out of them all over the place when I did finally get the screw through them. It is poorly made and will not make you happy. I DO NOT recommend this product to anyone!!!

when I got this bed, it came on 2 different days in all different boxes. When I went to put it together, They gave me two left legs for the headboard and no right, The leg for the footboard had a bunch of stuff in the holes for the screws so I couldn't put that together either. ALSO HALF THE LITTLE PIECES WERE MISSING, OR THEY SENT THE WRONG ONES THAT DIDN'T EVEN FIT THE BED. Then when I called, they wanted me to call back so I could talk to the manufacturer of the bed. The lady I talked to on the phone was extremely rude as if it was my fault they sent me this piece of junk. They also wanted ME to ship the parts back myself and pay for the shipping. Even though I ordered so much from them that I got free shipping originally. Target took no responsibility for the bed. After this I will NEVER shop at target again.

I am very, very happy with this purchase. I was a little worried, having read all the mixed reviews, but I was SO pleasantly surprised! We bought this bed for our 4 year old daughter and it's perfect. She already had cherry bedroom furniture to go with her cherry crib/toddler bed and this matches beautifully. It's sturdy, it looks expensive, the wood is shiny and clean looking. I received a great discount and free shipping and was pleasantly surprised to have it delivered so quickly. It came in 3 separate packages and yes, one of them was beat up on the outside, but nothing was damaged and all the pieces looked great. It took my husband 2 hours to put it together, that's probably the only negative, but he says it wasn't hard - just time-consuming. The people who complain about the head and footboard disappearing must have not done their research - this bed is for use with a twin mattress only. No need for a box spring. If you use a box spring, it will look ridiculous and will be way too tall. The way it is (we bought a pillow-top plush twin mattress) it's the perfect height for our daughter and it looks beautiful in her room. Highly recommend!

We have been using this bed for about 5 months now. It works great for us. It's close to the ground so our little one can get in and out easily. It's a nice looking bed - not perfect by any means, but looks good. We just ordered another one to match for our baby to use eventually. It's a great option if you want something simple and inexpensive!Update: The new bed was received and is NOT the same as the original bed. I will try to list out the differences here:Original: metal on headboard and f ootboard finished with a nice powder coat type finishNew: shiny black metal looking finishOriginal: metal on headboard and footboard was light weight but sturdy feelingNew: cheaper aluminum feeling metal which is also different dimensions than the original (wider)Original: bottom came assembled in two sections with all the slats attachedNew: everything is separate and has to be attached on its own (I did not assemble the entire thing, but the bed must be wider overall since the headboard and footboard are wider.)Original: Wooden pieces seem nicely finished and sturdyNew: same as above but different dimensions (taller mainly)So, if I were to review the new bed on it's own, I would say that it looks cheap but you get what you pay for. If I had received this one first, I probably would have kept it, but wouldn't have been thrilled with it. This new bed is definitely not as nice as the original (which I assume the reviewers before me also received).If I had the option, I would change the number of stars that I gave the bed to 3. Originally, I would have given it a 4.5 if I had the option.

I managed to assemble this with the "help" of three 2-year-olds and no other adult around to wrangle them. Took a little longer than it would have, but was pretty easy.The bed looks really cute, much better quality than I was expecting having read previous reviews.We've only been using it for a few months, but so far I've been very pleased with it. We just put a mattress on (no boxspring), so it's nice and low for my toddler to hop in and out.... perfect height for her.I'm so glad I b ought this bed!
