I agree with several previous posts, this is a wonderful instrument in room storage. I am a teacher, and used it in my classroom. They are light, making them easy to rearrange the classroom. Which I do often. Keeps my students on their toes. :) BUT the great thing... because the cubes are so light, I didn't have to take the stuff out of them to move. Annnddd they thought I spent hours doing that. Ha! I read that someone else did this, too... great minds. I used zip ties to hold it together. I d id not trust the little plastic connectors (which were a pain to put on!) I had several to pop off under pressure. After putting the zip ties on it... they never popped off again. Now, I brought them home... (summer), and I put a solid wood coffee table on top of one of them to make a table out of it. Seems to be holding strong. I got on here to see if there was a weight concern issue... but not from what I have been reading. Of course, all I intend to do is scrapbook on top. :)

Love this product as an organizer in my garage for everyones shoes. I have a family of 4,so everyone gets a bin for their shoes. Keeps them all in one place.. Love it!!!

I have 2 male guinea pigs tazz and blackberrry and i bought these cubes at target for $ and they work great for a c&c cage!:)

It's a cumbersome to assemble, at least for one adult to do on their own. I would highly recommend that you anchor this to a wall. Cubbies are great things in general and I think that this product along with the fabric, collapsable cubes, reinforce all the good habits we are trying to instill (i.e. everything has it's own place, clean up time).

I have had my storage system (like this but black) for about 3.5-4 years now! It survived all sorts of moves. Granted when I used those little plastic round things it was fustrating at times because my dauther would put a toy in and it would fall. But after having it for a while I finally thought of using zip ties instead of those stupid plastic things. It was my best idea yet. I got the shortest little black zip ties..zip tied the thing the way I wanted to keep it. Then just trimmed the zip ti es. You cannot even see the zip ties on it because it matches the black wire frame. Since zip tieing it, I have had absolutely no problem with it. It is perfect for storing the toys in.

I bought a set earlier this year and am very pleased with the quality. Instead of investing in an overpriced closet organization system, I bought some of these to put on the floor of the closet for shoes and some folded items.They work great! Choose your format for the cubes, then USE A HAMMER to tap the plastic joining piece onto the grid. You will see that the pieces actually fit perfectly and all the way into the little plastic joining pieces. I've moved this around the room several times an d it stayed together. These units are very solid if you put them together correctly. I'm definitely going to buy more!

I will admit that it took half an hour to figure out you needed to hammer the corner pieces in place but after that it was five minutes to assemble. Just for the record, my wife and teen daughter had me rearrange the configuration twice before they were happy and it worked great. I then moved it up and down the stairs a few times over the years completely assembled with no problem. I am now using it as a greenhouse and would love to have everyone who hates this item to send their's to me (I'd g ladly pay shipping). The only thing I have a problem with is that the cubes are smaller than my growing trays so I need more of them.

Hard to put together and when you do..they don't stay together. They can't be moved without falling apart and they can't hold up to any weight put on them. Waste of money

This set is very affordable, but it is a bit difficult to put together -- once you get one side in another pops out, it is an endless process of going back and re-doing your work. If you buy this, put it together RIGHT BY where you are going to keep it, it does not transport well AT ALL. Once it is set up, you cannot move it without the whole thing falling apart. Once in place, it holds together better than you would expect, considering that all the supports don't want to stay in at the same ti me. If I wanted it more solid I'd consider using plastic tie-rips to hold the parts together.

We first bought this set as a storage unti for my sons' playroom and it is wonderful. The first two cubes took a bit to get used to putting it together, but once you get the idea it is quick and easy. We stacked them 4 cubes high and it is both sturdy and strong. Lots of space and I never worry about my boys (age 3 1/2 and 1). We liked it so much that we put some in my older son's closet and my younger son's bedroom with large bins, and it has held everything from toys to clothes to videos. Hig hly recommend, and the colors make it easy to match any room!
