I bought this for my 11 year old daughter for her b-day.. I was thinking my husband would have to put it together but when I saw the instructions.. it looked easy enough. It was! It took me maybe 20 minutes to put together. The instructions were simple and step by step. It's sturdy and taller than I expected.. which is nice..I knew it wasn't going to be white but it's still pretty. If someone wanted it white..that's an easy fix with paint. I think it's a great price too. I'd recommend this to anyone .the only thing that could be a little better is the drawer..wish it was deeper but again..the price is good.

I am so glad I saw all the reviews on this product. It was delivered today and took less then 30 minutes to read and set up product. Compared to the vanities I have seen in other stores including [...} which is selling a cheap looking flimsy vanity for [$] and the display item is falling apart, this vanity looks like it would be SOOOOOOO much more money. Very nice Target!!!!!!! FYI doesn't come with bench but I have an upholstered storage bench I put with it and it looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed to discover after unpacking this item that more than half of the factory installed screws had been overtightened and were stripped...the ones that attach to top of the vanity to the base. I didn't have high expectations considering the price, but I ended up having to put about two hours into assembly... basically disassembling the entire vanity and moving the locations of all the attachment screws, drilling new pilot holes, gluing everything, etc... just to make itsolid and functional. Had my daughter not already fallen in love with it when she saw it onlnie it would have gone back. The upside is that once it was "fixed" it became a nice solid piece. Bottom line though, if you dont have the time, desire and expertise to "rebuild" it, you'd be better off with something else.

I purschased this vanity for my daugter back in 2008. It is still this amazing sour cream color. She loves it! The only thing I would be reluctant about would be the vanity stool, I should have had the forethought to cover the stool in clear vinyl as the cushion is fabric and one drop of the mascara brush ruined it!

My daughter and I were so excited to put the vanity together! However...when I took it out of the box it was not the color I expected. We were so upset! Their definition of sour cream is certainly not the same as mine. So it didn't match her other furniture. We were heartbroken when we returned it to the store.

was so excited to get this only to realize one whole corner was bent and the molding wasnt even glued on. Not the best quality but looks nice. Was so dissapointed had to take back to the store and then recieved a ticket for pulling in the firelane to unload it and take it in the store. Wasnt a pleasant expierence

I have always wanted a vanity ever since I was a little girl and I was thrilled when I saw this piece as it was so inexpensive and exactly what I had in mind. It was extremely easy to assemble and is great quality. I am so pleased!

My daughter saved up her money to buy this vanity for her room to match the Shabby Chic dresser and bookcase. The entire set looks beautiful in her room. Yes, it is an off-white color, not white, but still very pretty. The vanity is sturdy and was very easy to put together. I was somewhat disappointed when I realized that the drawer was not on a track with wheels. It slides on the wood which tends to make it hard to pull or for it to open sideways. At times, the drawer looks off center, but jus t needs some adjusting. A drawer on a track with wheels would be a great upgrade for this vanity. Otherwise, it's wonderful and we love it!

I ordered this and could not be more pleased. It is sturdy, could be assembled in under 30 minutes and it is pretty. Some commented about the drawer not working right, but I haven't had an issue. It is definitely off white so beware if you are looking for a white color vanity. Fortunately it matched my daughters bedroom set so I am very happy.
