I liked this iron the 3 months I was able to use it but it stopped working yesterday. The lights and heat shut off completely and the water began to seep out of the holes in the front. I checked to make sure I didn't blow a fuse, I didn't, and I know the water reservoir wasn't too full - I'm very careful about that. I called customer service today and since it was under warranty, they offered to repair the iron if I would pay the shipping to and from the facility...which would cost more than j ust replacing the iron itself. Needless to say, I am not pleased with their repair/return policy, especially since it was still under warranty!! Maybe I just had a defective unit but it appears that others have had the same problem so I'll be looking for another brand to replace my Shark.

Awesome!

I love this iron! Not only does it work great on your clothes, but the steaming feature is so powerful, you can use it to steam wrinkles out of new curtains, shower curtains, etc. Love!

I love this iron! Until now I thought an iron was an iron. I have been changed. The steam is great. It glides over my clothes. I have been tempted to iron all my clothing. This thing irons so well. Buy it-- its worth the price.

Don't waste your money.

I bought this iron about 2 months ago to replace my {previous} one I've had for years. Got it home, cleaned it and used it. After the first few uses it started geting a sticky white buildup on the sole plate. I'd have to clean it before during and after EVERY use. I wrote Shark who wanted me to pay them to fix their faulty product. I purchased a new iron-exact same and returned the broken one only to have the same thing happen 2 days later. I wrote to Shark again telling them of this probl em and still haven't heard back. This iron does steam lots which was great until it got sticky gunk on it, which is hard to remove without burning yourself and made it impossible to remove wrinkles.

It practically irons for you!

Wow, this is one of the very best irons I have ever owned! I always thought one needed to weigh a ton to do a good job but this beauty!! It's fairly lightweight and does a better job than any of the heavy irons I've owned in the past. It has so many options and offers just the right settings for the type fabric you're working with, it's nearly fool proof! You really can't mess up if you take a moment to adjust the settings for your fabric. I suggest you start with the lower temperatures and wor k your way up that way you don't have to wait for it to cool down and it heats up very quickly. With the added choices of steam or spray you'll get crisp clean creases and wrinkle free cloths, etc every time. I highly recommend this iron!

This is very sturdy but not TOO heavy (the exterior is made of a metallic looking material, but it is not all metal). This does the trick and does not leave any stains like other irons... and the price is so low compared to other actual professional irons, so what's not to love?!

LOVE this iron!

This iron steams like crazy and glides effortlessly over the clothes. This is the best iron for the money we have owned. The only downside to such excellent steaming is more frequent filling of the water reservoir. Oh, and my husband even loves it!

I bought this iron about a month ago. It's the first iron I've ever bought for myself and I was excited because I thought I'd gotten something good. It is by far not the first iron I've ever used -I know how to use an iron, thankyouverymuch. My husband especially liked the idea that it was somehow "smart" because the display and controls are "digital." I pulled it out of the box today and started to try to clean it as the directions say - it wouldn't change heat settings. Ap parently the "smart" digital heat setting feature is a little on the slow side. I waited a minute and tried again. On the fifth try, the heat setting changed, finally, after apparently having to think really really hard about what it was supposed to do. I got it cleaned out on the Wool setting and started to iron. About half-way through the shirt I was ironing, the ironing board pad started to burn. So I stopped, set it upright, and it spit water at me. After turning down the steam setting, I tried to adjust the heat setting. Pressed the button; nothing happened. Pressed it again; nothing happened. It remained stubbornly on the wool setting. I tried several more times to get the heat setting to change before finally just unplugging the stubborn thing. I waited for it to cool down a bit and plugged it back in. It pops up on "normal," but I needed steam so I tried to turn it up. Nothing happened. Absolutely nothing. The heat setting would not budge and it does not get hot enough on the "normal" setting to iron efficiently or effectively. Now I'm just hoping Target will let me bring it back since I opened it and tried to use it. If they do I don't know if I should get the same model (is this one just defective??) or if I should give up on the "smart" iron and get one with manual controls.
