Shelf Floor Lamp with Paper Shade - Walnut product details page

I bought this lamp with some money my daughters gave to my husband and I for our 29th wedding anniversary..here we are on our 31st anniversary and the lamp is still going strong and has been a very nice part of our home. I have never had any problems with it and have gotten alot of compliments on it. [...] One of my daughter's is wanting to get one for her new place. She needs to the shelf space since her apartment is small. That is the other thing, the shelf space is great! I got mine in the walnut and again it looks very elegant and a nice piece of furniture.

When I was looking for a lamp for our new baby's room, I saw this one and liked it, but didn't buy it immediately. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much and was still looking to see what else was out there. I kept thinking about it, though. For weeks. So we finally bought it. I assembled it last night, which was very straightforward, and LOVE it. It can take up to a 150w bulb. I currently have a 75w in it, and it adds a warm glow to the room that I could read by, but it's not glaring like the other lights in the room - overhead and closet. It has a very sturdy feel to it. The support posts are solid wood. I also put the clock radio on one of the shelves, so I don't need to take up the other horizontal surfaces in the room.

This has turned out to be a great purchase. I was a bit discouraged before buying two of these lamps after reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product. Someone mentioned that they thought the product was not good because they heard the wood cracking...that simply means it is tightened and if you continue you are going to break it...any wood product will do that no matter the quality, so stop tightening! It is a light piece of furniture, but this isn't meant t o be a bookshelf, just something more decorative than useful - put some cute nik naks on it. My only real disappointment was with the provided zip ties and the pegs that hold the lamp shade in place. I went and got black zip ties at [...] for [$] though and it fixed all and looks even better. The holes for the pegs could have been a little larger, [...] I feel this was COMPLETELY worth my money and I'm a very happy customer indeed.

I brought this the first time for my apartment last year and loved it. I just recently brought another one so I can have more light and to keep the theme going. I love how it looks in my place and it is very easy to assemble. I am very happy with this product. New Jersey

I got this for a 2010 Christmas gift. I loved the light but the chain ended up breaking and it wasn't even a year old. Now I have to decide if I want to spend [$] for this to possibly happen again!

Pretty lamp but not much light comes from it. so don't expect to be able to read beside it. More like a night light.

this lamp was easy to put together. the shade doesn't have a tight fit. i originally bought 1 of these lamps and then decided to order a second because it was so cute

I bought this lamp for my daughter, she's got limited space in her bedroom so this lamp is a perfect fit and it looks great too she loves it.
