I am really happy with this purchase. The lamp looks great on my night stand and the detail on it is really unique.

i bought this lamp with a round white shade. it says you can use an 8" harp or just drop it on the base. It looks fine with out the harp but with the harp it will elongate it and perhaps make it look a little more proportional. the silverish/copperish base is elegantly blingy and is somewhat translucent. i'm wondering if i should have bought a second matching lamp just for purposes of symmetry in the living room. i bought both the base and shade on sale.
