Although the Skullcandy docking station might look inferior to other products given its size and uncharacteristic shape, you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound. Unlike other docking stations, the pipe speaker is easy to transport from room to room (if you're like me and are constantly moving around the house) and it comes with a remote. I would definitely recommend this product!

For something this size, I'm impressed with the volume and quality of sound. It's very convenient, fitting almost anywhere and portable. I'm very happy.

This little jewel is compact yet powerful! It has all the sound quality I want in an itty bitty size. It is discreet enough for any room in the house and very versatile. I can take it with me just about anywhere that I want to go. I love taking it to the beach and to the golf course where I can stash it away but still listen to my tunes and share them with my friends! One of the best features is the remote that gives me instant access from fairly long distances! Love this little jewel!

I love Skullcandy headphones, so I decided to give this cool-looking speaker a try. I would not reccomend this speaker system to anyone. The design is the only thing it has going for it, and when you're buying something for how it sounds, that doesn't matter much. I bought this at my local Target, took it home and tried it out with my iPod touch. Immediately experienced the following problems:1. The iPod seemed very unstable and hard to plug in to the speaker. It was wobbling around and it was hard to tell if it was properly connected. When I shook it a bit, it came loose. I feel that with continued use, it could permanently damage my iPod.2. Probably because of the above, the sound kept switching from the internal speakers on my iPod to the Skullcandy speakers. I pushed the iPod further into the speaker to try and get a secure connection, and the sound started coming out of the Skullcandy speaker, but it stopped once I removed my hand. 3. The position of the iPod in the speaker made it almost impossible to press the menu button at the bottom of the iPod.4. The remote comes with a battery, but the speaker does not. This is not specified anywhere on the box or the manual, so now I have to return the batteries, too. After about 10 minutes of messing with the speaker, I decided that it was a total waste of money and I'll be returning it. The one I bought may have been defective, but I have been shopping around for portable iPod speakers for some time, and I have come to the realization that I just have to spend a little more and get a well-known, higher quality product.

Personaly i recomend this product. For the price it does everything you need. Who needs it to be REALLY loud anyways? (your neighbors don't want it that loud anyway)

I got these for my friend's bday and upon pluging in , we hated the sound... it sound so flat...so i got a RMA right away and returned it. I got the quicksilver speaker instead, it's a little bit more money but darn that thing rocks the roof! haha. well at least he is happy now...

I couldn't believe the sound quality coming from such a small device. I needed something small and easy to transport. This fit the bill. It can play very loud and doesn't distort. I love the remote. Simple to use! I'm now buying more "pipes" for gifts and spreading the word. It sells itself. Everyone that's heard it has asked where to get one!

It's small and plays your iPod so you can hear it in stereo. What else do you need? If you want top end quality, get a Bose. I love the size for travel. If I intended to keep it in one place I would look for something of better quality.
