This table is very good looking, in general the whole set looks great, however, and this applies for all the items in this set, it has nick and scratches made, obviously, prior to packaging, it seems there is not quality control and if there is they do not care a bit. Great for the value, and not difficult to assemble at all. I just got it so I can't say anything about durability so I give a 3...

This purchase was very disappointing. It certainly doesn't seem like Smith & Hawken quality, it also wasn't branded as Smith & Hawken when we received it like some of the other S & H pieces we received from Target. We purchased the dining table, 6 of these chairs, and the sectional sofa. One of the arms of the chairs was completely snapped off which tells us it's not very durable. We returned that set. The finish chips off easily as some of it was already damaged when received. And it was difficult to assemble. The frames were skewed on every chair, manufacturing error, so the bolts and screws didn't align properly which resulted in a difficult installation, forcing us to rig some of the fasteners. If it wasn't so difficult to return, we would have. After you put the time and effort into assembling the pieces, it would be time wasted to return everything. We'll be shopping for a new set in the coming years I'm sure.

I bought this set in 2011 - the set is perfect. We live in the country so it tends to be windy and wanted a table with no glass. The table is nice. Very happy with our purchase and would recommend.

The Table looks like it was put together in 3 different sections, and you can see lines where they pieced it together. Pretty sloppy if you ask me. Also, the paint is chipping off in places. The table was hard to assemble, the holes were not lining up right. It also looks like they tried to cover the weld lines with a sander, but didn't do a very good job... I am planning to return the set.

Just purchased this set at local Target, it is nice, but when I got it home there were a couple of scratches that could easily be fixed with some touch-up paint. I called customer service - obviously outsourced and thinking is done only by computers. No one understood the concept of touch-up paint, they just wanted to give me a credit for the merchandise, I do not want or need credit. If you go directly to Smith and Hawken, they direct you to Target - I think Target now owns the brand. Targ et doesn't have touch-up paint as an item for sale, so customer service was no help. The other manufacturer involved is potentially Sunjoy Industries, but they do not recognize the item number and sent me back to Target, as they do the fabric only - seats/umbrella. Nice set, good price, but if you ever need touch-up paint to maintain good luck. I've always loved Target merchandise, but my first experience with Customer Service has me rethinking everything.

I bought 8 chairs and 1 table Spring of 2011 and I've been very happy with them. Quality is good for the price and chairs pads are great - clean easily.
