It only took two orders to get this right! Made in china terrible quality control and shipping woes made this a horrible experience, save your money and buy from another store. I eventually was able to piece together something that looked like reasonable chairs! but at the end of all that frustration, what was the point!

Sister and I bought this set of 2 chairs ($200 a pop - wow!) plus the matching bistro table for parents 49th anniversary. It was a success!At first was dissapointed...the quality was less than I expected (I guess I didn't read the materials list) and the height was counter and not bar height (didn't read that either...) - also there was a dent in the table (on one of the sides) - I think they need to add a bit more padding given the maleability of the aluminum.Nonetheless, as the parents were a rriving that evening I built the sucker...and glad I did - by the time I assembled it (pretty easy) and set it up on the balcony with contrasting black plates, black and white napkins, tea lights, etc. it looked FAB! They walked in and (mom especially) loved it. Considering the materials quality and that it's only 2 chairs it's a steep price to pay, however, because it fit my parents' taste and really fit the space well (color and size wise) it was a good buy. If you want ultra-comfort, these chairs are definitely not the set to buy. I'll maybe make some "lumbar" pillows in black for each chair. The fabric is a nice olefin and it's nice to be able to rest your feet on either chair or table rung. Also table size is very nice for a "bistro" set - not dinky.
