First of all, this has been the first metal eyelash seperator I've seen and for 4.99 with a nifty dual-side retraction , It was definitely a steal. I'd also have to say i'm really impressed that a mainstream brand offered a eyelash brush. I use this to apply cake mascara , it's actually far better than the eyelash brush that came with my cake mascara. The brush defines , volumnizes and lengthens while the comb does a swell job in separating lashes for a multiplying look. Also, the brush works well with tubed mascara, I sometimes use tube mascara when i'm in rush to be somewhere, and I use the mascara brush to define and volumnize my lashes after I apply a coat or two. I'm an eyelash fanatic so I understand the purpose the brush serves. Used to be the tool old Hollywood actresses applied their cake mascara with. Marilyn Monroe used the tool

I love the comb and the fold-up design. I haven't found a use for the brush side yet but that doesn't really matter. I recommend it!

I am so glad to have found this metal comb so I don't have to keep replacing the broken plastic ones. It doesn't tug on my eyelashes and is cleaned easily. So cheap and it will last for a long time, awesome!

I was very excited about this product and really liked the idea of a metal lash comb, however pieces of the comb quickly fell out. I could carefully place them back in the slots, but then within a few weeks the brush side simply crumbled to pieces. Very disappointed. Every less expensive, non-name brand lash comb I have used in the past has lasted longer.
Would really like it, if it opened enough to use.

I was so excited to buy this product, but when I opened it I realized The brushes don't open more than what you can see in the picture. Perhaps I might have just gotten a bad one? I returned it but I might buy another to see if it works.

I bought one of these lash combs probably about four years ago. I absolutely love it! It is very durable because I use it everyday and it has lasted this long. I am very rough on make-up items and tools because I usually carry them wherever I go. The comb side just recently lost a few teeth which is OK because I would've broken a plastic comb within months. I am definitely going to buy another Sonia Kashuk Lash Comb!

normally i love Sonia Kashuk products but this thing fell apart before i even got it out of the box. the hinges are just plastic pegs in holes. The brushes did not stay in the holder and when i extended them for use, they popped right off - every time. maybe i got a lemon but i'm not going to investigate. returned it immediately.

I absolutely love this product! The metal lash comb and the fact that it all folds away for safe-keeping and traveling are my favorite parts. I don't use the brush too often, but when I have, I found it to be perfect. I've had to go through too many broken lash combs before because they're always made of plastic, but I though it was genius to combine not only the metal comb, but the fold-away feature as well. I've shown it to my friends, and I know a few of them went out and bought some right a way- its so perfect!
