This chair is perfect in my daughter's room with her white desk (also from Target). Easy to put together and it's sturdy enough for kids to be moving it around.

The chair arrived with a large crack in one of the legs where the screw was drilled. I would have returned it anyway since the color did not quite match the Hampton Desk. It was more of a vanilla cream color whereas the desk was off white.[...]

The first one, the bottom corner of the leg was chipped off. The second one was poor quality as you could see the pores of the wood. Also, the paint spray gun didnt coat all the areas. They are both still sitting in boxes at my house, waiting for me to decide which one is less defective so that I can take back the other.

I recently bought the South Hampton chair to finally match the desk set I bought over a year ago. The chair was easy to assemble, looks great, and really goes well with the style of my 1920's bungalow!

I bought this chair to go with the South Hampton desk because of the color. There are other white chairs whose design I preferred but I figured since they were a set that this chair stood a better chance of matching the color of my desk.Hard to tell the exact color from these pictures, it seems almost like an enamel white from the pictures but it is a flat antique white like the desk. Box arrived in good shape but the hardware (nuts, bolts, washers) was all over the box, the ziploc bag that hel d the hardware had somehow opened. They should do what they did with the desk and used a piece of cardboard and shrink wrap the hardware to it. Anyway, I carefully removed all the packing material to keep from losing any of the hardware and luckily every piece was there. Assembly was pretty easy, attach front legs to seat, attach seat to chair back/legs unit. Nice chair, solid wood, looks sturdy enough, a good buy for the price. It must be pretty popular because this is the second time it's been sold out.

This desk chair is perfect for our teenage daughter. It is sturdy and matches her decor. The price was economical too.

Chair was delivered very fast. Looks much more expensive than it is and is sturdy. I gave it 4 stars because it's not white white....it's antique white. Also, it came with no directions.
