This clock is great! SUCH a conversation piece. Once it's up on the wall, it looks awesome. I guess if you're looking for a clock you can glance at and know the time RIGHT then, it's not the best. But if you're in the kitchen you can read it just fine. Clearly this is more for looks than functioning as a basic clock! Love it, and it's durable!

I was hesitant to buy this item after reading the other review, but I went ahead and bought it anyway. It is very nice, but it isn't as sturdy as I thought it would be. The forks and spoons are very flimsy. It is a very nice clock though.
Conversation piece

This clock was perfect, spoons/forks were my kitchen theme. Shipped fast, arrived feels very light weight, which was fine. One major problem, it ticks when you insert the batteries, but the time (hands) does not move. Threw away the box before I tried it now I'm stuck with a great conversation piece, I'll just have to use the microwave for the time. :-(
