I thought larger canisters were meant to hold an entire bag of flour and sugar respectively. These were extremely small and didn't seem the least bit sturdy.

I ordered this to store coffee, sugar and a few other items in my cupboard. I love the stainless steel look and the clear top to view inside. They are not big enough to hold a large bag of flour, as someone mentioned, to me they are more like containers for items you need quick access to a little at a time. The smaller container can hold almost a lb of coffee. I don't think this is for heavy duty users, but I do find them very clean looking.

I've had these canisters for around 1 1/2 years and love them, but the plastic tops are cracking. They're great for a short-term fix, but don't expect to use these forever. Otherwise they looked great for a while!

Bought this as a wedding gift and they love it. Fits their needs perfectly. Very nice design and the lids seal tight. Great for storing lots of things for easy access.

The acrylic was also thicker and taller than the stainless and takes up more cabinet space. I'm glad I got the stainless because it's just so beautiful and it works fine for me. I washed the smaller two at the top rack of the dishwasher and they came out fine. No gask et falling out or any other problem. I use them for coffee and powdered juice. The 2 bigger ones I handwashed, airdried, and use them for cornstarch and sugar (2-lb sugar fills the tallest canister 2/3). I want one to store breakfast cereal in so I bought the jumbo size separately from Target.com (they have the best price). There's no such thing as 100% airtight so I don't intend to keep perishable stuff (like cereal) in these jars for more than 2 months. All in all, great look, great design and great value. No buyer's remorse on this one.

I am very happy with these!They look great, the sizes are versatile and perfect, and unlike some other reviewers, I have had to problem with the sealing or the closure.I recommend these.

These canisters create awesome storage for all your baking needs. Flour, sugars, etc. and the airtight seal prevents attracting little unwanted critters! They're a good size for small apartments because they don't take up too much space. They're also stackable. Enjoy!

I got these as a wedding gift and have loved them! They are the perfect size and I have not had any problems with them at all! They look wonderful in my kitchen!
