Am old enough (60's+) to have seen all of the Star Wars movies in the theater, and as a long time stereo/ video enthusiast have purchased the product in VHS, Laser Disc (remember the old LP sized laser discs?), and in DVD's as the newer and better formats appeared. Having a high end sound system combined with a high definition television, there are few films more suited for the new Blu Ray format than George Lucas' Star Wars series. Hopefully the time will be taken when converting to digital to bring the older format into the Blu Ray high def, 5.1 or 7.1, THX mastered, Dolby DTS HD etc. standards; and knowing George Lucas' high standards, this should be worth the wait.
