This monitor came highly recommended by more than one mom so I purchased it. I am very happy with the product, it's design, and features. I love that I can span left, right, up, and down with ease and from the handheld. Also the handheld is very sleek and the clip is strong and secure. Sound quality is crystal clear and no unwanted static or picking up of other surrounding signals. Highly recommend this product to parents/caregivers looking for a peace of mind.

Don't buy this. it worked fine for a few months and then all of a sudden the monitor when out. it is still under warranty so I tried contacting the company and they FINALLY got back to me after several tries and they won't send me a new one until they receive the old one. What am I supposed to do in the following several weeks without a monitor - This cost me $ dollars and I am going to have to end up buying another brand one anyways. Don't get this one.

I initially liked this monitor until it broke one night! What do you do at 11pm when you need to keep an eye...or at least an ear... on your sleeping child?! I AM INFURIATED! I never thought a [$] dollar monitor would break after only FIVE MONTHS of use!!! On top of that, it interfered with our wireless internet as well. You essentially CANNOT use the internet at all while the monitor is in use. We had been calling our wireless provider complaining about our internet being slow until we f igured out it was the monitor! DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!!!!

I love this monitor! We have no problems with static or internet interference. I charge it at night on my nightstand and the screen stays on, so when I open my eyes the first thing I see is my sweet little one. Also love that the camera can move. I would recommend this to everyone!

It is the most amazing thing that could happen to a mom. Starting for a very good quality picture, alerting you if something is going wrong because it has an excellent noise detector - you can even hear your child breathing and the fabulous thing is you can go to your next door neighbor's house and still watch and listen to your child. you can look up all over around the room if you have 2 children sharing it. It is so amazing!!!!!! I love it.....

Im so surprised at the negative reviews on here. I had a problem with the handheld unit of my original Summer video monitor about 10 months after I bought it and all I had to do was call Summer Infant and they sent me a new one. They are very, very accommodating to fixing problems. As with any technology there will always be lemons. I did lots of research to find the best video monitor and Summer Infant had the best reviews by far. I love my Summer Infant Video Monitor and always recommend it to my friends as a must have!

This is one of the items I am so glad I purchased. We were constantly having to get up to check on the baby to make sure she was ok. Once I connected my camera and monitor I was able to enjoy my meals without having to get up for nothing. The picture disappears after a few minutes while not plugged in, but I called customer service and was told that it does that to save the battery. Since the sound works at all time, all I have to do is click a button on top and the picture reappears. Strongly recommend product.

Love this monitor. Great picture. Color during the day and clear night vision when it's dark. Sound is great. We love the convenience of being able to click on the picture to check on baby when we hear her cry. Especially when she's just making night noises or having a dream and doesn't need to be tended to.

We purchased the older version of this model when it was closer to { $ } dollars. It majorly interfered with our internet which was SO frustrating. We enjoyed the clear video & zoom feature so much that we decided to put up with the interference. After having it only 4 months, it completely stopped working. I just emailed the manufacturer to see what steps they'll have me take to get it fixed or get a new one...my rating may change-depending on their customer service! I'll make sure & u pdate after we get it resolved. Otherwise, I would've love to spend the money on something that worked a bit longer than 4 months!
