about Loved this! review
I used this from birth to almost 9 months with my youngest son. We had purchased one of those big and cumbersome baby tubs for my oldest and I hated it! So, for the 2nd go-round I bought this and absolutely loved it! I like that it was so compact and easy to store. It also fit right in my kitchen sink, which made bath time a 1000 times easier! I would recommend this to everyone!
We have used this for our baby since he was born. It is even nice as a little chair in the bathroom when parents are home alone and need somewhere to set baby down to use the restroom. Now that our son is starting to sit up and wiggle around more, it is time to transition to something else, but we definately recommend this for babies under 6 months.
I agree with the last post. I had twins and have been having trouble finding a bath tub that they are comfortable in. I obviously bathe them one at a time, but both of my twins were born at 5lbs each. They both slide down in the bath because they are not heavy enough to sit comfortably. The mesh is nice and the bather is very soft and cushy. I would recommend this product, but not for small babies.
I like this bather but it's not good for tiny newborns. My baby slides down to the bottom of the thing constantly. I spend more time holding her up than bathing her. It will be better when she gets a little bigger.
Super comfy for my son! The only complaint I have is now that he is bigger (5 months) he wants to splash and play and in order to get him anywhere near the water I have to fill up the tub A LOT! Easy to clean and compact.
When I found out I was expecting baby number three I was a bit surprised. I had already given away all my baby items including the baby bath tub. The old tub I had was so big we didn't have anywhere to put it where it was not in the way. When choosing a new one I decided on the Summer Infant Deluxe because it folded up. So far it has worked out well. My only issue with it is that my wiggly baby has managed to turn herself sideways in the seat faster than I could put down the soap. Other than th
at I am glad I chose it.
This little bath seat is so nice to just put any where. We can fold it up flat and store it in the basket with all the other tub toys. It is especially nice since we have 2 other children and only one small bathroom for all 5 of us.
I love this because you can lay baby down, lather him up, and not worry about getting too slippery. I can use it in the tub or sink (big sink). And no big tub to drag out! It's also sturdy and easy to clean. Just make sure you douse it in warm water before placing baby in when it's chilly.
Be sure you mease your sink before you order. If you want it for your kitchen sink or have flat square sinks in your bathroom it may work. It doesn't not fit in a rounded sink at all. The base is square and has no give to it to fit in a round sink. The mesh has no give to it so I don't know how well it would work to put a newborn in as it didn't even sink down when I pressed on the seat area of it with my hand. I had a sling bather that came with a baby tub that fit in my bathroom sink for my f
irst child and this was the closest I could find, but was terribly disappointed when I got it. And especially since you have to pay shipping and it doesn't work even if it fit in typical sinks.
