This was fun and easy to use and baked the donuts perfectly!! The basic donut recipe got mixed reviews in our household and made 15 instead of 10!! I'm not worried....I'm confident we'll find a recipe to please everyone!!

EXCELENT machine, purchased for my 11 year old and she s a donut making fool. Donuts are evenly cooked, tastey and fresh! Never regret buying this machine! Money well Spent!

My daughter sent me this as a gift and it works great. The donuts are tasty. The people complaining about the donuts being uncooked or burnt either can't follow directions or their machine is faulty in which they should return it and get another one. It is them not the machine. This is a good and fun product. Just FOLLOW the directions. I like the small size because it saves on calories. My only complaint is Sunbeam should have put a handle on the top to lower it easier, it's a bit heavy. Other than that I love it!!

i don't understand the reviews that say only half is baked, or that the bottom is burnt... i've made SEVERAL batches of perfectly golden brown donuts, and get tons of compliments on the recipe found in the book! I've also toyed around with other recipes, and made a gingerbread donut with brown sugar glaze... and this machine pumps them out in like 6 minutes! BRILLIANT buy! I LOVE IT!

I purchased this donut maker yesterday and regret it totally!! I followed the recipes in the book to a T and after cooking for over 15 minutes they were still gooey inside. I then tried to flip them over since they don't cook evenly and they still ended up gooey inside. Don't waste your time and money on this product!!!!!!!!

This was just as I imagined. I bought b/c I have celiac disease along with one of my children. I saw this maker advertized in a magazine in December and wanted to see if a donut maker would be cheaper than buying the gluten free donuts. This is a product that was hard to keep on the shelves at Target. I finally bought it online after I saw they had it available again. It worked great and now I can make a variety of donuts and not complain about eating the same donuts all the time! I've tried 2 different recipes and they were both great! The only minor complaint I have is that the bottom gets done a bit quicker than the top but that doesn't make a difference with the taste or texture so all is :-}

Today was the first time I used this product, and it was a complete waste of time. The donuts didn't cook evenly, and they basically tasted like a burnt/half cooked pancake! If you're going to use this Donut maker I suggest using cake mix or try looking up actual donut recipes.

Fantastic!Got this for a Christmas present & just used it yesterday. It works great!...We made the basic recipe as stated in the manual and it took 6 minutes for a perfect batch of yummy donuts. (The manual says the recipe makes 10 donuts, but we got exactly 15 out of it).We made the basic glaze recipe as well...that needed more milk added but then came out perfectly! My husband created his own topping as well by coating the finished donuts in a cinnamon/sugar mixture & those were also fantastic.This works so well that I actually went to [a] Bookstore yesterday & bought a Donut recipe book. Can't wait to make more!

Where to begin, I have tried 8 times making donuts in this thing. Thinking I must be doing something wrong. Everytime they turn out the same tastless, burnt on one side underdone on the otherside. They taste of the donut reminds of a stale old pancake, They donut have any resemblence of a cake donut. It's the texture and taste of pancakes. Save yourself some time & money buy, some dounts or make some pancakes.

My boyfriend purchased this for me for Christmas. I sorta laughed, I already had a donut pan but I gave it a go anyways because it's such a cute little gadget. I made the basic donut recipe from the manual--they were fantastic!! For some reason it works much better than my donut pan, I don't know if it is because it cooks more evenly or what. I've used it several times already and I always have a delicious batch of fresh donuts in 6 minutes. No more trips to the gas station for [...] Donuts. Th ese are much cheaper and probably a bit healthier to boot.
