I bought this oven a view weeks ago! The metal rack looked like stainless steel. But after aq few uses it turns out it's cheap junky Copper. Part of the scale of the knob timer came off. Lousy quality!

I love this turbo oven, no more preheating my oven just to cook a meal for 2. This little baby does the job in half the time and uses up very little energy. Easy to clean, glass is very thick, easy to understand instructions and time-tables for whatever you want to cook.
This is not the Flavorwave As Seen on TV. The product description does not state that it is. I made that assumption based on its appearance which is nearly identical. That was my mistake. This is either a knock off or a lower end model by the same manufacturer. It is simply a convection oven. There is no infrared or halogen heating element. It cooks OK but you do not get the speed cooking you could expect with those other heating elements. One other thing. One of the user manuals is in Chinese.
Seriously. Not a big problem since it is fairly simple to figure out. You set the temperature and the timer and go.

My 15 year old Turbo Broiler (Imarflex), finally died last month. It was a gift from my parents when they came to visit from the Philippines. Thee only way I could replace it with the same brand, would be to have one shipped from overseas. Not gonna happen. So, I gave the Sunpentown Super Turbo Broiler a try, and I am so glad I did! Excellent roaster for just about anything - meat, fish, poultry and vegetables. The temp goes up to 500 F and browns and crisps the outside of your roast perfectly,
thus sealing the juices inside and keeping it moist.Have you ever heated left over french fries in the microwave or even in the oven? A total waste of time and energy. Not so with the STB. The fries come out just as, if not better than fresh out of the fryer. Need to warm up 1 or 2 slices of left over pizza? Comes out oven-fresh in 5 minutes! TIP: The cooking bowl is big and heavy (made by Corning), and could be a chore to clean each time you use it, so I line the bottom and sides up 3" with heavy duty aluminum foil to cut the washing in half.
While I haven't been using this oven in the traditional "roast your chicken" way, I have been roasting with it and it has been awesome. It heats up quick, maintains it's temperature, and I've even left it outside a couple of days without any harm done. Buy it with a Stir Crazy popper -- look it up. Both highly recommended appliances!
I owned a very similar oven years ago (about 15) so theyre not new. I was quite happy with it but the glass bowl was quite thin and eventually just cracked one day during use (I still have the upper part).I was kind of skeptical about this one because its hard to judge from the image how thick the glass is. Im happy to report that the glass is very thick and heavy so I doubt Ill have the same problem with this one.Just a note about convection ovens now. After my first one failed I bought a diff
erent style of convection oven, one that looks more like a microwave, a metal box, youll find them here on Targets pages. These are a disaster when it comes to cleaning. If you cook food which spatters grease youll find it impossible to clean the corners and crevices, just remember how difficult it can be to clean a microwave after an accident. I eventually threw it away dripping with grease.
.....Item is genius in it's simplicity. All it is is a fan over top of a stove top heating element! I used the oven thermometer to measure the temperature while the unit was on. With no food in the appliance the temperature was spot on, up to 500*. Depentding on what type of food you have in the oven the temerature varies expectedly. The cooking time table provide is quite acurate, six frozen chicken cutlets took 20 min......My favorite thing about it that everything is contained in the unit. S
uch as the grease from the burgers, which drips off into the bottom. Clean up is as easy as cleaning any Corning Ware pot. .....Only reason I give this item a four and not a five is that it takes up some counter space, granted I have very little and so that is why I feel this way. .....Another good thing is that the timer automaticly stops the device when the time is up. A good safety feature. Another good safety feature is the automatic shut off when the lid handle is switched up from the down (on) position. Item does heat up so care must be taken. [...].....This does not suprise me being that it seams to simple to be marketed in the US. It doesn't have that "Modern Space Age" look. It's something thats grass roots. Simple enough that it might have been invented fifty years ago.
