Could not get it to go together strait. The threads were striped. All in all a terrible purchase. I liked the style, just couldn't get put together because of faulty product.

The shade that comes with the lamp has a semi-gloss finish that looks a little strange, but the lamp itself seems to be a good quality

The lamp is sturdy, but the finish is not brass. It is more on an oil rubbed bronze finish. It was fairly easy to put together...just follow directions to screw the parts together. It does include the lamp shade.

I just received this lamp last week and it is exactly what I expected. I needed a floor lamp for my daughter's nursery so I ordered this one online because it was a good price and fit the decor. The lamp was a cinch to put together, it took about 5 minutes. The lamp gives off a good amount of light and looks just like it did online, so overall I am quite pleased with the purchase and would recommend this product.

We chose this one over others because it is less expensive. We expected it to be lighter in color but it is finished very dark. More importantly there was a small spot in the base where there is a dent and the paint is marred. The problem is that when you find something wrong, you've already gone through the trouble of unpacking it and laying out the parts in order to put it together and also would have to send it back or go to the store to return it. So we are satisfied with it but if it wasn' t such a hassle to put it back in the box and everything else we would have to do, we might have returned it.

This lamp is even prettier in person than in the photo. Sturdy and good quality. I am very happy with it.

Looks great in ou living room. Doesn't take much space and the light isn't overly bright. The only con I've noticed is that it does wobble just a tad but nothing major.

Needed a sturdy lamp and this filled the bill. The base is weighted well and not "tippy" like many floor lamps. An excellent value for the price.

Nice looking, easy to assemble, feels solid. What else do you need from the floor lamp?If switch would be placed lower on the stem so you do not have to get up from the chair to operate it I give it 5 stars. [...] price is attractive.

I purchased four of these lamps, in an effort to redecorate my apartment; 2 for my bedroom and 2 for my living room, and they look wonderful in both rooms.They were very easy to assemble. The finish on the lamp is more brownish then brassy, but I had planned on antiquing them with some paint/gold leaf anyway, so not really an issue. The base is very heavy and sturdy which is a plus for me. I have two rambunctious kittens that had a habit of playing at the base of my old lamps, causing them to k nock over and break the bulb! They don't stand a chance at these lamps. Very happy with this purchase!
