Bought this at Daily Deal on Target.com for [$]
Picture and and sound quality is good for studio apartments or bedrooms.
Must say, its a good buy at the price point.
I did ALOT of comparison shopping before deciding. I expected this TV to just be "OK" for falling asleep to and wasn't really expecting great picture quality or sound. Well this TV is excellent. The TV can make the SD channels fit nicely and they actually look good, not stretched or fuzzy. The HD looks amazing even in 720p. The audio is suitable for a bedroom and has digital audio out for larger rooms. The "fun-link" feature is awesome, it allows me to control my netwo
rk media player through the TV's remote without any programming.
Summary- Bright picture, deep colors, very black blacks. Impressive picture for SD, exellent picture for HD. Decent enough sound for a small room but has digital audio out for larger rooms. The fun-link was a feature I didn't know I could use but turned out to be extremely convienient. Overall through price comparison and experience around many different HDTVs over the years, I think this is the best value HDTV you can buy in the 19" class.
I bought this tv for my bedroom and got it on sale for [$] It is a wonderful little tv for the price! It has sleep mode, probably my favorite feature. The picture and volume levels are also great!
I have an application which needs an S-Video input. The Target website indicated that this TV has an S-Video input. When I went to my local store, the display model also had an S-Video input. When I got this home and unpacked, surprise, it does NOT have an S-Video input. On the back of my TV, it is marked as the Sylvania LC190SS2, which is the same product number as listed on this web page.
Since my needs are specifically for an S-Video input, I cannot but rate this as one star, since it did
not fit either my needs, or even the product description.
Just got mine today. Can confirm that there is no S input on the side. Strange as this is the same model number advertised here and the one in the store had an S input on it.
I had already returned another brand of tv in the same size due to a few issues. This one was easy to set up, is compatible with the Dish Network remote, and has an easy to program sleep timer. The picture is decent, the sound acceptable and the price was amazing ($149). It's replacing a smaller 15 yr old Zenith that is still working so it remains to be seen if this will function for as long. All in all, a nice little tv.
I went to Target looking for an inexpensive computer monitor for a spare computer. The store I went to didn't have any but I saw this and was intrigued. I had also been thinking about an extra TV for a spare bedroom and this does both jobs! This TV has every connection you could possibly need. It was very simple to attach the base, the rest is pretty much automatic. I have a roof antenna, no cable, and the HD picture is excellent! For the money, I don't think you can beat it!
