i was checking to see what the shipping cost would be for this item, but had to fill in all sorts of other information so obviously shipping is a problem and they don't want you to know until the very end it would appear. i'm not into games so while this was the product i was looking for and would've bought around 3-4, i think i'll move on to places where they obviously don't have a problem with shipping costs...

I am sorry, but paying almost the same amount in shipping as the cost of the item is ridiculous. Target needs to be aware that doubling the cost of an item due to shipping is going to lose sales pretty quickly. I was going to purchase this bookshelf until I saw that the shipping cost was (.........). Are you kidding me?

I ordered this to put in my girls' room to put bins on for their clothes. I like the fact that the bottom of the back side is designed so that it will fit around base boards while still touching the wall. Very solid construction.

I agree with the rest of the comments posted about this item. This is definitely the type of narrow shelf that I need for my small bedroom. However, like the other customers stated on here, the cost of shipping is too expensive. There is one other shelf that I really need to purchase online here at Target that I may bite the bullet and purchase regardless of the price of the shipping, but it would cost me over [$] shipping to purchase both the first furniture item and this one together. And you won't see what the cost of the shipping is until you take steps to purchase the item.

I absolutely LOVE this shelf. I am a teacher in need of another bookshelf, and this one meets all of the measurement requirements for my tiny classroom! However, I am sad to say that the shipping cost is keeping me from purchasing the shelf.

It is often hard to find a narrow bookcase that can go into a narrow space or into a childs room. As I redo my daughters room towrds preteenhood/teenhood she wanted two of these cases with a bench in the middle to hold her TV (think the other storestyle). But we needed a narrow case instead of the usual 30 or 31 inches wide. This bookcase was great and holds all her items. Easy assembly, sturdy assembly and shelves are securely held in place.
