I rode thousands of miles on a similar horse some 55 years ago, and it is a joy to purchase one for my grandaughters. They love it. Even without the wonderful clippety-clop sounds, or the sing-along, the horse is magnificent. After the first ride, my grandaughter "fed" Lucky from her bottle.

GREAT GIFT!

BOUGHT THIS HORSE FOR MY GRANDAUGHTER WHO IS 18 MONTHS OLD. SHE CLIMBED RIGHT ON, KNEW HOW TO RIDE RIGHT AWAY! SHE'S NEVER BEEN ON ONE BEFORE! SHE LOVES THE MUSIC, AND LEARNED HOW TO DO IT BY HERSELF IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES. LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE A FAVORITE FOR YEARS TO COME. IT WAS NOT DIFFICULT TO PUT TOGETHER AS LONG AS THERE WERE TWO PEOPLE WORKING ON IT. A GREAT VALUE!

We bought this for our daughter Christmas 2008. She was 2 1/2 and loved it! She is now 4 and still loves to ride it. I like how sturdy it is. It will hold 65lbs, which will give her a lot more time to ride. The song is cute and she sings along. My husband had no trouble putting it together and it went pretty quickly. He is not the most handy either. (I hope he doesn't see this:)I would definately buy it again. The saddle does slide sideways, but it isn't anything that effects their riding it. I like this one too because it isn't as huge and bulky as the Radio Flyer one.

We received this horse as a Christmas gift from a friend for Christmas 2008. Our kids had a great time on it (especially after we noticed it was on "demo" mode and switched it (on the battery box in the neck) so it says all the phrases and does the motions.)A year and a half later, the switches seem to have shorted out (must press buttons in ears to make horse talk, but they no longer work) and the horse only makes clip-clop sounds now. None of the sounds or movements (mouth, tail, ea rs) work now. Also occasionally just 'goes off' clip-clopping when no when is around or touching it. Overall good toy, the physical frame and horse seem to be a lot more durable than the electronics in the horse.

My son got this for Christmas 2008. It was great at first but the music in the left ear shorted out at about 7 months old so we had to teach our Autistic son to ride without the music.. something that upset him. Then the red tubing that covers the springs ripped open and exposed some of the spring. Now the frame is totally bent and irreplaceable. My son is only 34 pounds, well below the 65 pound weight limit so I just don't understand how the frame could bend so easily. Sure my son loved it but it didn't last long. Just an FYI...
