The antenna works really good , the only problem is that it needs to be pointed in a certain direction inorder to get good reception . The area I live in the tv stations are ; one to the north and two or three north east and some to the south [...] . So if you have stations scattered you might want to try a bi-directional antenna. I had to reposition the antenna a couple of times and now works good. The antenna does not come with a pole like shown in the picture , so you will have to buy the pr oper accessories to fit your needs.

I am very pleased with this antenna. I live in an apartment and cannot put an antenna outside. I had purchased a "indoor amplified" antenna manufactured my Phillips and had very little luck getting in a couple of the local stations. After replacing it with this model, and mounting it indoors, I get excellent reception of all local channels, including the ones I was having great difficulty receiving. I even get a couple of channels that I wasn't able to receive at all from a nearby cit y over 50 miles away.

50 miles east of NYC as crow flies gets 2,4,5,7,9,21,55and many other UHF Stations.Only thing missing still is 13 WNET from Newark NJStable, VCRecordable - a Great Buy - and works in the attic!

Should only be sold as advertised to add to external antenna as extra but I was only able to try inside but only 20 miles from 5 stations and as mentioned above only got two disappointing with advertising misleading! or maybe I misread it.

I bought this antenna to replace an "HDTV" rabbit ears-type antenna with a built-in amplifier (which cost exactly the same price). The old antenna pulled-in 1 DTV station...occasionally. I set up the DB2 on top of a bookcase inside a steel frame apartment building without any amplifier and it immediately pulled-in all of the 25 DTV channels available. Signal strength was excellent for all of the "local" stations (transmitters 30 miles away), but incredibly, I also pulled in a weak signal with fine picture quality from a neighboring city (transmitter 60+ miles away - 90 degrees in an opposite ditection). If you mounted this antenna on mast outside (its design intent), I would have to assume you would enjoy spectacular results.

The antenna seemed to pull signals in well, but be advised to treat it with care. I was trying to change the placement of my antenna (after about 6 months of use in one spot), and the coaxial connection broke, came right out of it's housing, making the antenna useless.

This antenna gets all the stations I was expecting, and then some! I even receive stations originating 180 degrees from where it's facing. I can't find any flaws with this antenna even though I have it set up indoors. Very pleased! I highly recommend!
