There are 2 main things that bother me about this sound machine. 1. It is not loud enough. I still feel like I have to tip-toe around while the baby is sleeping because I know he can hear noises over this machine. 2. The power light is too bright in a dark room and it's a really blinding blue. Sounds like a weird complaint, but I literally put a burp cloth over it at night so it's not lighting up his whole room. In addition to those two things, the sound options aren't that great. The fuzzy white noise is the only one I want and this machine does have it, it's just not loud enough... Not a fan and in the market for a new one.

This sound machine is well worth buying if you have a new baby. There are 2 volume settings, so you can make the music/sounds as low or loud as necessary. This keeps outside noise out while baby sleeps, but isn't so loud it can be heard outside the room.

I like the size and shape of this machine and the fact that it can be battery operated if necessary. Most of the white noise choices are very strange and somewhat scary sounds that I would hesitate to use, but there is one that sounds similiar to rain and that's the one we have it set on. I like the volume control, and the fact that it can stay on or be set on a timer. We keep it on all night. We haven't used the lullaby sounds yet. This machine does it's job, keeps white noise on in the back ground, and helps baby to sleep.

The sound of this machine is poor quality. Actually sounds as if the speakers are blown. Also, I have never heard of a horn being good white noise. We had purchased the [...] sound machine for my daughter, it's more expensive but well worth it. Has a night light and the sound is great plus allows for you to plug in an mp3 player. I would not recomend this to anyone!

My daughter is 11 wks, and we bought this for her about 3 weeks ago. We noticed that she'd stop crying/fussing when I turned on the dust-buster. Same with the vacuum, the running tap water, and the dryer. She is a very colicky baby, and also has reflux. We really wanted her to get some rest, so we gave this a try. It's awesome!! We leave it on all night, because she wakes up once it turns off, and we've only used the white noise functions, not the lullaby.

I bought this over 2 weeks ago and I am so impressed. My 3 month old was waking up 3 to 4 times a night. I decided to try this machine and I honestly can not believe how well it worked. The first night we used it we put him down at 8 and he didn't wake up until 5 to eat, then went back to sleep until 7. I thought maybe it was a fluke but it has been the same the last 2 weeks, and the past 3 days he has slept the entire night, not waking up once!!! Yes some of the sounds are interesting but thi nk about how it would sound to be in utero. The music is simple but it is for a baby and it specifically says in the booklet the music is not for sleeping. If you are having problems with your infant sleeping try this machine. It was only around [$$] dollars which I think is a great price for a full nights sleep!! My only regret is that I didn't have this when he had colic!!

This is our second version of this machine, one now for each of the kids' bedrooms. It subtly drowns out household noises for naptime and bedtime. I love it because it has lots of different sounds to choose from, including music, and has only a subtle light. I would have given it five stars but the second model is quieter than the first one.

We absolutely loved this machine! We used it every day, for every nap and long car rides for 6 months straight. I'm so sad to say it stopped working after such a short amount of time. I don't know if there was a short in the system or what, but it is no more. I don't really want to spend $ on another one if it is only going to last half a year.

We have the [....] for my first son and love it. I wanted to try this one for our new baby because it has double the white noise and double the music choices. I was also excited about the battery option. The music has great sound and doesn't have the machine-y twang that so many baby items do. HOWEVER, the white noise options are SOOOOOO BAD. One even sounds like a car horn going off. It is going back to the store tomorrow and I am ordering a second [...]Machine as we speak...
