I bought this High Step because it has enough platforms to raise it to the height I desire. An added bonus is that it is small and can fit easily under the bed. Or it can be left in the living room and used as an additional chair.
This step was exactly what I was looking for. The compact size fits perfectly in my storage closet, but the exercise is just as effective as a full size step! I love that it came with an instructional DVD to help out newcomers to the step. This is a great item to buy if you're looking for a step that doesn't take up too much room.
You can get a good workout at home using The High Step. As you become more advanced, you can add more risers to make your workout more challenging. The Cathe Friedrich DVD which came with The High Step is excellent. Hand weights, tubing and a balance ball are also used in the workout DVD. The High Step doesn't take up much space and that's a plus if you don't have much space.
