Read the reviews after it shipped and was a little worried. It got here in one piece with zero damage... ups took very good care... and put together with a friend in a couple hours. The directions are straight forward. I'm not sure where people were getting confused. Easy to put together. feels sturdy. It's pretty low to the ground I expected a little taller I suppose. Definitely need some of those child guard rubber corners... tore my fitted sheet makin the bed... and some carpet slip stuff to keep the bed in place. Good price and quality for college kids like myself.

assembling this bed took a lot of time and effort. the directions are confusing at times, and it was the most difficult of my bedroom furniture to assemble. that being said, i love the bed itself, and i love the spacious drawers that make it more functional than just a block of wood to sleep on at night.

Not at all happy for the amount of $money. It is 6-8 pieces of wood nailed together! The draws are so far under and need so much room to come out. The mattress needs to be real big/heavy in order to prevent it from sliding around. Target + Beds = Bad Choice! I should have went to a "furniture" store.

Did take some time for it to be delivered and when it was I swore it was going to be broken the shape the box was in on top of the way the delivery man threw it down in my house while delivering it but it was great no missing or broken piece took some time to put together but easy none the less great drawer space don't know what the complaints were about pretty sturdy if you ask me but loving my bed now

i love my new bed!! it is perfect for any size bed. its perfect for me as a college student and about to move out.

I love the way that the bed looks in our room and fits with our other furniture and it is a very sturdy bed, the drawers are really nice and big. Putting the bed together however was a pain. The holes for the screws aren't lined up correctly so you have to improvise, the instructions aren't that great either, there are very vague pictures and very few words at all. There are no letters or numbers marked on the pieces to identify them, you are just supposed to look at the picture to tell. It see med to be packaged well but when we took it out of the box it was chipped. Overall its a really great bed once its finished, just a headache to put together.

item's heavy but I'm a 130lbs woman and put it up on my own. Took about 2 hours to have it set up but totally worth it!!! The bed's great, looks incredible and the best thing is: its price!!

The directions are woefully inadequate.If the individuals who wrote these instructions were to write the instructions on"How to Boil Water" one would NEVER enjoy a Boiled Egg. The 7" overhang on both sides must be reinforced or one will suffer the consequences of the edges breaking if one does not use a box springwhich should NOT be required with a platform bed.The design is great, but be prepared to "Beef" it up for strength.

This bed was easy to put together and looks great. The best part is that when she cleans her room she cannot shove everything under her bed! I looked for several months for a platform bed for her and needed to stay within a budget. I am very glad I mad the choice I did.

I have been shooping for a new platform bed with storage. I looked on the Target website and was pleasantly surprised by my find. The bed is solid, heavy, and supportive of my mattress. I am enjoying it very much.
