The Tonka XT is a good idea with poor performance. My sons were really excited about this as they love radio controlled cars and this one IS fun, it jumps, spins and because it's two sided, the car can bang into things, flip over and just keep going. The problem is that all these fun elements don't make up for two big design flaws, First, the car has a very small control range. You have to walk along with the car or it just dies if you get out of the approx. 6ft. range. It might as well have a cord attached to it, because that's how much range this controller allows! The second problem is that it takes about 30 minutes to charge the vehicle but you only get about 20 minutes of playtime, which is very frustrating for kids to have to stop and wait for something to recharge after such a short period of time. I'm glad I received this toy to try as part of a Bzz campaign because I don't think a flawed, frustrating toy like this, is worth the price tag.

My kids love this little power packed vehicle. It is a small bundle of energy, zooming, flipping and racing throughout the room. It is a toy that will keep them entertained for a few hours. My only complaint is that it uses 5 batteries, quite a lot.
