[...] This seemed like a good combination of my contemporary style and my refusal to pay triple figures for interior illumination. While it does accomplish the function of bringing brightness to my sad suburban apartment, it's a bit of a joke to look at, for the following reasons- 1. The dual-ended screws that hold the leg joints together don't stay in place because the interior is stripped. 2. The three legs sit on small balls for stability. Two of the three do, in fact, screw into the legs , but the third, which the cord runs through, just kinda hangs out in construction limbo, neither screwed in nor completely akimbo. 3. The combination of the aforementioned makes the lamp resemble a high-school shop project of less than stellar accomplishment. I won't return this lamp because I can fix just about anything with duct tape and a Sharpie, [...] don't buy it.
