I really love this shower curtain. I've actually purchased it twice, for two different apartments. The image is elegant and beautiful. Yes, it's plastic - maybe the dissatisfied purchasers should learn to read descriptions. And yes, it's translucent, which is exactly what I was looking for as there is no light fixture or window in my shower. It's not completely see-thru as some have claimed, so you're not completely exposed. It is indeed black but appears a dark gray once light is shining throu
gh it. It's perfect!
first off i thought i was buying a cloth shower curtain this is most defiantly the thinnest plastic i have ever felt. Second i thought it would be beautiful it is not....it is not black it is gray light gray at that. i can see right thru it as if looking thru a large cloud of smoke and into my shower. it is a cheap piece of [junk] i wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy much less someone i know
Awesome picture - really brought my bathroom together with style and color. Makes a statement. It was a little longer than expected though, so I have to leave the shower curtain hanging outside the tub vs inside. All in all - love it!
I decorated our bedroom in black and white with lime accents. Then decided to extend the color pattern into the bathroom. I typed "black and white shower curtain" in google and this shower curtain was the first item to pop up. Not only was it the color scheme but it matches a painting we have in the bedroom. I ordered it immediately and it arrived in a very few days. The price couldn't be beat! We love the shower curtain! We are so fond of Target that we drove 30 miles to get to the n
earest Target store and purchased our lime towels, etc.THANKS Target for my beautiful bathroom!!
It's not actually black. It's more of a smokey color and you can see through it. It's just very cheap looking. If it was actually black and made out of material it would be beautiful.
This shower curtain is actually quite beautiful from far away...however there are many flaws. It is see through...completely!! Also the color wears away if anything is rubbed against it for too long, i.e. a towel. If you plan to only use it as a decorative item, then it is great, but don't get it if you actually plan on using it.
Maybe I should have paid more attention to the package. It was plastic. It was not as pretty as it looked in the picture. It looks more grey than black.
I took this back & swapped it for a cotton shower curtain. This PVC plastic material wasn't what I was looking for, it looks cheap, glossy & smells of plastic.
Yes, this shower curtain is transparent and yes, I can see how some people would think that makes it look "greyish." (Mine CERTAINLY doesn't look green at all...)Our small apartment dates back to the 50's and our bathroom has all white walls with a black and white tile floor... and this shower curtain, along with a few black accessories, really makes our bathroom look new, modern, and beautiful. You can put a black shower liner behind it to make it not transparent but I liked the way
it looked as-is so much that I ended up choosing a clear shower liner to keep it that way.I bought this item in-store after scoping it out on the internet first. I don't know if they changed the packaging, but there was no way you could mistake it for fabric in store. And it was incredibly easy to remove from the packaging. It looks great, it's easy to clean, and it's a great piece to update an outdated apartment.
