I posted earlier how much I love this stuff, I LOVE IT! But forgot to say how to use. This is a damp hair product only. The second ingredient listed is "Hydrolyzed Wheat protein." This expands in damp hair then retracts when dried to form curl. It's the same idea behind Aveda's "Be Curly" line only a billion times better. So it will do nothing on dried hair.Like every other curly girl I know, I have a closet full of hair products. Before buying this, I was up to using 8-10 d ifferent products everyday to try to boost my "lazy" curls. I now have it down to 3. I still use a mousse to provide some support and hold. I also like to use Aveda's humectant pomade when dried for additional curl boosting, shine and it just smells soooo good. But I'm really ticked at Aveda for having this pomade on back order for the past 4 or so months. So, I think I'll pick up the Umberto Curl enhancing spray. If it works, I'll say good bye to Aveda and HELLO UMBERTO!!!!!

It is a little pricey for the size of the bottle but it is worth every dollar! I love it. It makes my curls feel soft yet they stay defined. Reduces the frizz when lightly blow drying over curls. Good Stuff!

This is the best curly hair product I have ever used! If you need stiff styling, then perhaps you need something stronger -- but if you just want a natural look this is really great. Not goopy - you dont feel like you have to shower all the time just to un-goop your hair after you go out. Prevents frizz lightly. I have course, curly hair and this is great stuff... no, the smell is not awesome, but it is gone in 2 minutes and I dont want a product that is 'hair perfume' anyway -- I have my own p erfume. Since it's so great, Target is bound to discontinue it like they do everything else...

I bought this product - 2 for $$$. So i though it'd be really good because i have the umberto hair straightener and its really good. I was soooo annoyed because as soon as I opened it, I smelled it, and it smelled like sour milk. I thought my hair would smell like that...but it didn't, which was okay. This product did NOT define my curly hair, or make them shiny. It made my hair have little frizzes all over my head, and made my hair thin & straight. I thought that was really weird because i t's suposed to be for curling. I will not purchase again, unless anyone can tell me if I'm using it wrong.

Really keeps my hair soft and frizz-less. It's light, and a very little goes a long way. It doesn't enhance my curls or hold my hair in place, but it seems to add long-lasting fullness, and smooth dry strands.

I did read the reviews before buying this product. It just didn't work for me (and it smells bad). I tried wet and dry application, combed through, scrunched, air-dried and blown dry. My hair looked the way it did back in the 60's..full, frizzy and out of control. The best product I have used on my curls is Paul Mitchell Styling Mousse but I am searching for something I can transport in a carry-on bag when I travel. I am returning the Umberto Curl Enhancing Lotion for a refund.

I tried this product today. I normally use TRESemme products. I love the curls it created. They were soft but still separated. I got tons of compliments. My only complaint is the smell. The product smells like hair color.

I recently bought this product & have mixed reviews about it. I like that it makes my hair feel soft & not stiff like other curl enhancing products but it did make my hair feel alittle weighed down. It did keep the curl for the 1st day but you would need to reapply the day after. Not a good idea if it weighs your hair down.

I have a bit of natural wave/curl but until I got this I used to get a perm. Now I put a dab of this in my hands, then spread it on my hair, either air or blow dry with a diffuser. My curls are fantastic! Many people, including my hairdresser thought I'd had a perm!!! This brand of products are all easy to use, don't weigh down the hair and give it lift, curls and shine! I hope to be using this product forever!
