about fits perfectly, works perfectly review
My old coffee filter was was leaking and coffee grounds were floating around in my coffee, so I opted to replace it with this one. It fits perfectly and works perfectly and now my coffee is delicious again. The price was appropriate and I am glad to have my coffee maker back in good working order,
I can only guess that the previous reviewer had a problem related to the coffee maker not the filter. I would suspect they somehow jammed the coffee release valve on the carafe mechanism. I've had one of these filters for years and it has worked without any problems whatsoever. It is easily rinsed out and if you are particular it can be easily further cleaned with a little dish soap and an old toothbrush. I drink a lot of coffee and this baby has easily paid for itself many times over. Haven't
bought any other filters for years, in fact gave away some remaining filters I had years ago.Great item to save money and have a great cup of jo!
This item is supposed to take the place of #4 paper coffee filters, which is what my coffeemaker uses. The first--and definitely last--time that I tried to use it, while it seemed to fit perfectly, the water backed up while the coffee was brewing. The result was a flood all over my counter, with water and coffee grounds not only in the pot itself, but throughout the entire coffeemaker mechanism, into my toaster which was standing near the coffeemaker, on other nearby dishes, and onto the floor.
I had to enter one star because it's required, but I'd rather enter a zero or a negative number. This was worse than a waste of money.
