Bought just before superbowl '12. Had been hooked up with component cables giving a very good pic and sound. Then I changed my cable box to HD and used the HDMI cable...WOW!! The pic improved. can count the whiskers on Elliot's face from the show Leverage. Since cable broadcasts in 480p,this pic is great. Use the menu for fine tuning to your liking, which is easy to use. Very well worth buying. Gave sound a 4 because any tv has pretty much the same and all sound better when hooked to another so urce.

I had high hopes for this TV, purchased it on January 4th and it was delivered a week later. Things were going smoothly until yesterday 2/29 when I couldn't even get it to turn on. I called the mytargettech hotline today and we did a quick trouble shoot test unplug unit, hold down power button for 10 seconds and turn back on. The TV came back on but all that showed on screen was a black background with the VIZIO logo. I could not change the channel or anything. Needless to say I will be return ing this product and the wall mount also VIZIO I purchased with it. So I was able to use the product for all of about a month and a half before it crapped out on me. very disappointed!

Died after 5 weeks.

I ordered this TV on January 1 and set it up January 7. It died on February 21. A quick internet search reveals this is a common problem in this size TV purchased since November. Despite positive word of mouth, I'll never buy Vizio again. That said, Target.com and retail customer services were AMAZING. [...]

Bought this TV. 1 month of having this brand new Vizio TV it decides to not turn on. The warranty serious is confusing. They make you call all over the world to have the fix. overall this is a nice appealing tv. but it comes with complications and headaches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dropped cable about a year ago and haven't looked back with all the options available antenna with a great HD picture. My five year old [...]needed an upgrade so I found this at my local Target store and thought, for the price, why not. Got the set home and did the channel scan, the built-in tuner is terrible. My old [...] picked up 8 more channels and didn't scramble the picture as bad as this thing did. I will say, the picture on this LCD is 10x better than the five year old TV is was rep lacing, but the signal strength couldn't compete. The sound hooked up to the antenna also had some problems. There was a slight hum and no matter what I did to adjust the settings, I could not get rid of it. Needless to say this will be going back. I'm sure if you have a direct connection - dish or cable - this would make for a great LCD on the cheap, especially given the picture quality. However, for my needs I couldn't give it more than 3 stars.

We purchased this 32 inch Vizio tv for our bedroom. The picture is crystal clear. Very happy with the tv! It arrived via UPS, [...] very lightweight. With almost no electronic knowledge, I opened the package and was able to attach the base and hook it up to our satellite without any trouble. It even came with its own screwdriver! Great buy for the money!

[...] Seen the deal Target was offering on the 32 inch Vizio and picked one up. Set up was a snap. I had the TV up and running before kick off. I didn't need all the bells and whistled, just a decent TV to get me by for a while. I'm rather impressed with the picture quality, in a very bright room, and the sound from such a small TV. It was a good deal for a decent TV.
