I bought this for my sons room, and its the worst thing I have ever spent my money on!!! It is so hard to open, by the time I finally get it open my fingers hurt!!! Wish I had the packaging to take it back!!!

when is no body at the bedroom i put in high levelwhen is slepy time i just put in low level.my baby and i sleepvery good ..and feel much better our nose are not dry anymore and our skin look better. i put with my fan together or with our conditioner air... so... i just bought recently... i really love it.. i hope dont have any problem with this item in the future..but right now im enjoying

Have only had the humidifiers for a few months, but they are working very well. One is for my grandson who has frequent colds and congestion. Since they have been using it, the congestion is minimal and the cold doesn't seem to last as long as without it. There has been no trips to the hospital for him since. The other one is for me. It has helped quite well with my chronic bronchitus. Again, congestion and coughing is minimal and my husband and I are able to sleep through the night. With re gard to the mold discussed by others, we have not experienced any. That could be because we empty and dry it out each day and put fresh water from the faucet in it when the humidifier is needed.

I read all the reviews before I bought and took them all into consideration hoping that I could prevent the problems listed. I cleaned weekly to prevent mold, I put a towel underneath to prevent water leakage, etc... It worked well for one month then I refilled it one morning and when I went to check it an hour later all the water was on the floor and it smelled strongly like something was burning. I cleaned it up and refilled it, then it was making a horribly loud noise. [...] It's trash. Spend more money and get a quality humidifier. [...]

No use at all. Noisy like a old AC. A full tank of water cannot last for 8 hours. I know it said on the box that we will not see the moist but at least let me feel it. It is like you have bowl of water in front of a fan and let it blow all night. It does not even worth to give a try. Waste my time to buy, try and return it. I bought the penguin in other brand and love it. The penguin worth every penny.

We bought this for our 9 month old that was up crying at night with a terrible cold. It maybe worked for 3 days and then started LEAKING EVERYWHERE!!! We couldn't even put it back in the room because when we tried to carry it in it spilled water constantly. Biggest waste of money ever!!! Spend more and get something better! Now my husband is out buying a new one at 10 at night because she still has her cold.

I have yet to have a problem with this product. I have had this humidifier for 6 years and I have not experienced any leaking or mold issues. I use the KAZ water additives that are sold next to the product to avoid any mold or mildew issues. With any humidifier, an additive should be used to avoid mold and mineral deposits. I think this product is great and has lasted me quite a while.

I bought this humidifier for my 3 month old infant, it was ok in the beginning. After a month of use it started to grow mold on the filter, that's not cool. I went to but another filter and saw that it cost almost as much as the unit (WTH)!!! Anyway I'm on my way to return it this week and get the [...] model in pretty pink for my daughter. Whatever you do don't buy this machine its not worth all the hassle.

Not happy with this humidifier at all. Doesn't seem to be blowing much moisture into the air because it's all leaking on to my carpet! Woke up to a puddle on floor. We were trying to save some money by going with the cheaper model...bad idea!

This thing worked for a little over a month. I ran it daily but not excessively. It no longer puts out any humidity. How can I tell? I no longer need to refill the water because it's no longer using any up. When I first bought it I was refilling it every 3-4 days. I can't find the receipt or I'd return it or use the warranty. But honestly, after only 30 days of use I shouldn't have to do either. Apparently I was just renting this thing for a dollar a day or something. That's an awful lot of pla stic going to waste for only 30 days of use. Now I have to find a recycling center. And buy a new humidifier...obviously not a Vicks brand.
