We love this bowl. It looks awesome on our living room wall. It's very sturdy and holds the weight of the water and rocks very well. Our beta, Nomo, seems to truly love it as well, he is very happy and active watching everything around him. I do wish that I didn't have to unscrew it every time to clean it. I was hoping it would have a keyhole hanger, but I understand that a fixture like that may not be as safe. It does, however feel extremely secure in our drywall with an anchor, even after hav ing taken it down to clean it many times.

I was pleased with this product. I got it as a gift for my sister in law. My only problem was that it just came in a plain box and had no picture or paperwork with it at all. I ended up printing out a picture to put with it to be sure she would know what it was.

This is really a neat idea. Quite an eye catcher! Just big enough for a single fish like a beta (as shown). Does not include ANYTHING but the tank. Instructions say to hang with an anchored screw but to change the water you will have to unscrew it from the wall. [...] Do NOT use soap, it leaves a residue that can kill your fish.Sorta ackward for the small opening to arrange rocks and a plant but it can be done. To fill it - I just use a cup and pour slowly. All in all, really neat and out of rea ch from small hands.

I didn't realize it was just going to be a plastic bowl. I guess I should of looked more into it. It seems pretty cool especially when it's on the wall. I'm just afraid of it being too heavy for the wall and having it fall down. Overall, it's an okay product

I returned these because they just were not what I wanted. They were plastic and just didn't look right in my livingroom. I think they would be great for a kids room or somewhere else.

I love the wall tank, it looks great. I hung it in my daughters bathroom. i've had beta fish through the years in smaller tanks and as long as you change the water, use distilled water and the beta water conditioner that you can buy at any pet store the beta should be fine. They do not need a filter, that lady's crazy. My last beta lived two years. Hope this was helpful..

Love it . . . and so do the fish!

I have had my fish tank(s) for over a year - ALSO, I have had the same fish in each one - I have not had to replace the fish. The only reason I decided to write this was because of the ratings it got. I have a beta in each one and you change the water just like any other tank. Everyone who comes to my house loves it and asks where to get it at! It is definately a unique idea and my fish are definately happier their than the small bowl in a pet store!!

How many gallons of water does this bowl hold? There are many different opinions on the tank size necessary to keep a betta happy, and it'd be easier to judge if this bowl will work if one could more easily compare it to other tanks.

This ia not big enough for ANY fish

As an aquarist, I have some big problems with this product. As one of the previous posters mentioned, this is perpetuating a dangerous and cruel myth that betta fish can live without heaters and filters and in extremely small spaces. These things are just not true, and fish kept in tanks and bowls such as this often become painfully stunted and die long before their natural lifespan should end. Please pick up a 5 gallon tank set if you want to keep a betta. The fish will live a much longer heal thier life.
