I like everything about the step stool as far as height and stability. The green color is great with the colors in my house. The only problem I have had is getting the stool open and closed. It is very stiff and difficult for me to move. The locking mechanism is pretty straight forward so I think it is just because it is so new. Although, my mother has a similar step stool from twenty years ago and she still never opens/closes it because it gets stuck. Maybe just the style...and maybe we are bo th whimps.
