Put your Westinghouse 40" HD TV wherever you'd like. The screen is big enough to mount on the wall, but small enough to fit on a tabletop using its detachable base. The 1080p resolution will provide bright, clear imagery. Watching TV and movies has never been so fun.

Bought this TV yesterday and we love it.
One big problem - If you have AT&T U-Verse you will have a problem in that we can't locate a remote code that works so that the At&T remote doesn't work on the TV.

This is NOT a good tv! You get what you pay for, so do not expect anything breathtaking cause it is nothing short of a dissapointment. I have a Sharp 720p in the master bedroom that looks better than this 1080p. Not only ...

I returned this tv the very next morning after purchasing it. The picture is not good at all. You are very limited on what picture settings you have. The picture has lots of red tints in it. This really turned me off. The sound is horrible too. Very "tinny". Don't waste your money. [brand] The picture blows this thing away. Oh, it's not a true 120hz tv either. It's a simulated 120. Funny! Good luck.
If anyone is complaining about the picture quality, they have it set-up incorrectly. When I first hooked it up I was extremely upset at the picture quality. But then I found out that I had to make some changes to my Fios settings. The picture is absolutely fantastic, the tv itself is nice and thin. My only complaint is about the audio. It really does need a sound bar to make it the perfect tv. And the price is unbeatable.
Compared to the 32" LCD HDTV different brand set I also own, this one is inferior in every respect except size and perhaps energy efficiency. The HDMI picture is good but not quite as sharp as the older one, nor does it have as many user-adjustment settings to make it better. The picture aspect settings are not as versatile, either.
The sound quality is so poor that I have added some small powered speakers, which make a great improvement--sound would be rated 5 stars with the added spea
kers. I would return it, but I have learned how it operates and don't want to go back to the smaller but much heavier SD TV it replaced.
We bought it to use with a new Blu-Ray player, and the HDMI picture is better than the old CRT screen. My ratings above are as compared to LCD sets on display in stores and as compared to my other LCD HDTV described above.
I understand that the LED screens are an improvement over the LCD screens. Technically, perhaps, but I can't see it visually.
this tv like a lot of the doesn't allow you to hook up to an external source other than an antenna or digital coupling. a source such as vga input, game input, or other source for video inputs.
also video output, audio outputs to your audio amplifier or computer
is necessary for some one who really uses the tv.
these are necessary items for a good tv and shows some intelligent
thinking for the manufactorer.
very poor review is the result.
Picture quality is great...it isn't a true 120Hz but colors and bright and vibrant and HD looks great. This tv will most likely require a sound bar unless you are in a small room or if audio quality isn't that important to you. Plenty of connections for other devices.
Just bought this tv on Friday and the picture quality is awesome but the sound....it sounds like really cheap [$] headphoness. [...]I would like to rate the sound quality at 0 stars but it won't let me. If you plan on buying this tv, make sure you have a surround sound system.
I purchased this TV on 12/31/2011 and it was the best purchase of the entire year.

I purchased the more expensive of the wall mounts. So happy I did. It allows it to swivel up/dn/lft/rt and out. Mounted it on a stud and it is fantastic. I work from home and sometimes when things are slow I tilt it and watch from my desk.
The picture is outstanding, the colors are crisp. People complain about the sound quality but I love it. It almost sounds like surround with the native speake
rs. The only problem is the sound level goes across the entire screen and I only use about 1-2 inches of it if that much. Anything louder and it would blow us out of the room.
Great TV, Great value. Other comparable sets were hundreds more.
Can't say too much about the picture quality as I hadn't gotten my HD box from comcast as yet. The biggest problem I had with this TV was it never kept the settings. Each time I turn it off and back on, I would have to select the viewing between Standard, Fill or Overscan. I called Westinghouse which explained that's how this model was, it doesn't have a memory chip. The agent was very helpful. Westinghouse have other models that caters for this need as was explained to me.
I returned it to Ta
rget with no problems given.
The TV itself is very slim and easy to navigate. Nice remote and it has a "Freeze" option that my son liked.
If you don't have a problem using that view option, that is right on the remote, every time you turn off and on, its a good TV for the price.
the pic.looks awesome i must be the only one that got good speakers or the only one that dont live in a warehouse but the sound is great on my t.v. is pic. quality is bad you need to talk to the cable company to find out how to put it on 1080p i did improved greatly
Don't buy this TV...you'll only have to bring it back

The sound is tinny to the point that it is truely annoying to listen to it. The picture does not fill the screen, but only a small box in the middle of the screen on many channels. You can go into the set-up and correct it, but every time you turn it off or change to your gaming system or your DVD player, it returns to the original picture set-up. [...]
I agree , the aspect ratio switches with the over the air broadcast depending the input signal . If you set the TV to something it won't remember. as soon as the channel changes unless you have a cable box of some type . The DLC ,NR , aspect ratio . Picture levels stay .
