I had high hopes for these boots, but they'll be going back. I couldn't even get my leg in to really try them on, and I'm not normally a wide-width or wide-calf boot person. I'd even ordered up a size! I wasn't thrilled with them when I opened the box, because they look pretty cheaply-made, and the fit issues on top of that sealed the deal for me. For the price, I'd rather return them and put that money towards a more expensive, quality pair when boot season rolls around again.

These boots fit true to size and the picture is an accurate representation of what you get. Some have mentioned the "cheap" feeling of the leather, but for a boot in this price range, it's really not that bad. I returned them, though, because the fit felt awkward to me, though that may have been solved if I had taken the time to break them in.

I mean you get what you pay for OBVS but these are super cute! They look JUST like a certain very pricey brand name 'riding boot' [$] Not a boot that will last a lifetime but definitely cute and comfortable for a few winter seasons

Before purchasing anything on target.com I usually go to my local store and try it on, then wait for an online promo code to purchase it online. But, I wasn't so lucky with these. These boots were not sold in my area so I purchased them online without ever laying an eye on a pair. I purchased a size 7 in brown. I'm 5'2, average build and these fit great. I read the measurements before purchasing and was expecting the height of the boot to fall almost 2 inches below my knees. And the measureme nts hold true. I've had these boots since early December, and have worn them almost daily. They show very little signs of wear, and the shape of the boot is holding up well. The other boots I own are from [brand], and [brand]. I would say that these boots are of similar quality.

Reviewers are complaining about the leather being cheap or color wearing off after a few wears, but let's be honest, with most leather you're going to find fading, scratches, etc. after wearing them, and considering I purchased these at [$] on Christmas day during Target's online sale, I find these boots to be what you pay for. I live in the city so I'd never buy four hundred dollar boots to have them ruined. Don't go buying these boots expecting [...] boots quality. They're good for every day use. Not only are they fashionable, but I find the comfort in these boots to be amazing! I slipped my foot into these as soon as I got them in the mail and was shocked at how comfortable they are. Also, after walking in them all day, I think they have to be my most comfortable pair. I got these in 6.5, but I could've gotten away with a 6. They do slouch a bit at the ankle but I think that's because of my height & my shorter legs being 4'11". Overall, I'd definitely recommend buying these!

I ordered these boots in brown and 7 1/2. They are definitely true to size, if not a little big. I have worn them several times, all day, and are very comfortable. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have bought boots from target before and I have always gotten either a 7 1/2 or 8 and I had bought this in both sizes and both time i couldn't get my foot in it. The ankle area was tight and stiff and wouldn't stretch for my foot.

In all fairness, I do have huge calves. Knowing this I got a half size up, as this is what I've done with other high boots before. Got the right one on, but I have a serious calf muffin top sort of situation going on that is very uncomfortable. So sadly, these boots I have so looked forward to will be going back. Otherwise, they look great, are inexpensive and I love them, well, loved them.

I just bought these in the brown and have worn them 2 times and already the color is rubbing off at the toe area. The leather also gives the look of being dried out. Other than that I really like the shape and comfort of this boot.
