These are the best blankets for swaddling...they're big enough, lightweight, and cute! We use them for everything. Bedtime, in the car, stroller, as a cover.

We have been using these blankets for 2 months now. We absolutely love them!! Great for swaddling baby at night. These are multi use and I know we will use them for a very long time. Great buy!

Gosh, we LOVE these. When our son was a newborn we used them for swaddling. Now that he is bigger they have become generous burbcloths. You can cover a lot of your shoulder and back b/c of the large size, minimizing spit-up messes. We also spread them on the floor as a play area and use them in the stoller as blankets. These are really soft, big and versatile. One warning, the first few times you put them in the dryer, they will generate a TON of lint. It might be worth it to dry them half way, clean out the lint and then finish drying.

I have a different design, but same brand. I bought these for swaddling my little one. Since they are square shaped, swaddling is so much easier than with a rectangle shaped blanket. My little one loves to sleep swaddled, but I was concerned about him getting too warm. These are very breathable. I'm sure they're great year round, but in particular, great for summer. A perfect lightweight blanket. As others have said, there are many other uses too. I use it for a nursing cover as well, since he gets hot under his regular nursing cover. I love that they can fold up pretty small. So far (about a month), they seem to wash well. I always worried if the fabric would be too delicate to hold up to many washings. So far, so good. Also, I thought the price was a little steep, but really felt like I needed these. But, they are so great, so versatile, at around $[...]/blanket, it's a great deal!

I bought a couple different brands of receiving blankets that ALL turned out to be way too small to actually swaddle my little one. Fortunately I had taken 2 from the hospital to hold me over until I found these. They are large, soft, and I just can't say enough good things about them! You can use them for so many things. I know the price may make you think twice...but they are worth every penny!!!

my little girl loved to be swaddled forever, even now that she's older and she doesn't get swaddled to sleep she still gets wrapped up in these soft blankets
