The memory foam is grossly misrepresented in the picture on the box. It appears that you'd get a 1.5 to 2 inch thick slab of foam, when in reality it's barely 0.5 inches thick. In addition, the foam doesn't even fill the liner it resides in... it just kinda floats loosely around in there and bunches up, causing uncomfortable creases when you're laying on it. It's laughable at best. I refuse to believe that not a single person in Aerobed's marketing/testing/whatever department didn't realize how deceptive the retail pictures of this mattress are in comparison to the real thing. They get a big thumbs down from me for doing that. My suggestion - buy any other standard queen size air mattress, and spend the extra [$] you'd save on a separate memory foam mattress top - they're pretty widely available these days.

This is anything BUT memory foam. It was crumpled from being in the packaging and was lumpy when it was placed on the bed. It seemed like a piece of Styrofoam was thrown into the top and passed off as memory foam.

We got this to use for overnight guests and ended up using it while we were painting our room. It was very comfortable. My husband liked that he did not get sweaty since the memory foam made a barrier between him and the plastic. It was a little low when we woke up but all in all it was a pretty good sleep.

This mattress was about [$] more, full price, than I intended to spend on a temporary fix. After a recent move, I found myself with no bed and a knee injury. I chose this because of the 22" height. I layered this on top of couch cushions on the floor, the result of which was the height of a real bed. I'm a larger person and have been pleasantly surprised that mine hasn't lost hardly an ounce of air after several nights. If you're counting on serious cushioning from the memory foam, don't. The layer of foam is very thin, but it does zip onto the mattress, so there is no shifting. The onboard pump is quite loud, but the initial blowup took literally just 2-3 minutes. No joke. This does not have the thin, barely-there feel of a plastic beachball, as some of them do. I repeat...quality.

Not a bad bed, but for [$$] you would expect a lot more than what you get in this bed. I spent the extra money, it was the most expensive one at Target because I thought the memory foam would make up for the price....wrong!! It is a lumpy mess that made the bed less comfortable, not more comfortable.

I bought this bed in August 2012. It has always had a problem with deflation, but recently it became clear that there had to be holes somewhere. After investigating, i discovered THREE holes on the bottom of the mattress, stress tears along the seams. There are oval-ish indents on the top and bottom of the mattress, I think they serve the same purpose as springs would in a regular bed, and the holes were along the edges of these ovals. It claims that the weight limit is 600lbs, which we hav e never even approached, and I don't let my 3 year old jump on it... So I used about a whole roll of duct tape trying to patch these holes. I even went out and bought 9 air mattress patches and a whole roll of air mattress repair tape and even that didn't help. When it was inflated, I found it very comfortable. Yes, the memory foam is pretty thin, but it is definitely more comfortable with it than without it. Still, I would have to say DO NOT BUY THIS BED!!!!!

I purchased this item in store on August 8, 2012. 4 weeks later it started losing air, finally found the leak on the bottom in a seam. This bed was set up indoors on a clean padded floor and the only one to ever use it was me, I'm 69 years old and guarantee you I was not jumping up and down on it. [...] Needless to say I just learned a [$] plus lesson - no more air beds for me. What a waste of my time and money.
