Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade I received the 5th generation Ipod on December 25, 2015 as a Christmas gift that was purchased from Target. Prior to owning this Ipod I owned the 4th generation for two years which was malfunctioning and lacking in battery life constantly. An update was needed and the Ipod 5 made up for all those complicated moments that were shared with the older version. The 5th generation is impressive and is a huge upgrade from the 4th. It offers many new apps, settings, camera styles, and easier access to adjusting sound or lighting. Apps download quickly and run smoothly without any interference. Extremely light-weight compared to many phone devices out there and the newer update, the 6th generation. Apple shares how the screen is a 4-inch diagonal widescreen display with Multi-Touch IPS Technology. Only problem I had was with the touch screen not responding randomly and resulting in having to restart it. The back of the Ipod is a anodized aluminum finish in bright colors. The matte finish is a huge upgrade to previous generations due to it being less scratch-prone, but for those who are still clumsy a case could be used. The camera takes at times incredible HD shots depending on the lighting, but when it comes to darkness the quality is lowered immensely and is not the most pleasant sight to look at. Installing takes a very short amount of time, only needing to be connected to a computer, setup settings and wait for the charge. It is used as a mini computer in my pocket and has resulted in not needing to pull out my laptop all the time to check out social media. The apps do take up a lot of space on the Ipod with 32GB which may not allow you to hold as much memory as needed. The Ipod is easy to use, easy to maintain and has made it an easy choice for choosing a technology brand. I highly recommend the Ipod 5 to anyone who is constantly using social media and surrounded by wifi most of the time. This is the best alternative to own if someone is unlikely to own a cellphone such as myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good and Bad iPod Touch 6th Gen I discovered the iPod touch when it was relived in the Apple’s 2012 event. This product had been one of the most talk about items at the event. Due by the popularity it became my must-have of the year, and it did. I got the following 3 weeks after its release. The purpose of the iPod touch is to make memories and to be productive while using it. The iPod has 4in (100mm) diagonal (16:9 aspect ratio), multi- touch display, LED backlit IPS TFT LCD, 1136x640 px at 326 PPI 800:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 max, and brightness. The memory has 512 MB DRAM; the storage could be 16, 32 or 64 GB flash memory. The rear camera is 5mp backside illuminated sensor, HD video recording 1080p up to 30 frames/s with audio. This iPod was changed from the height and width then the iPod that came before this one. This product has served me in many ways. It has let me capture memories, let me do school work, and let me enjoy music and games. The main strengths of this product are the camera, storage, and the software. The camera has let me capture those HD pictures that I could get post and print out. When I went to Spain this Spring I captured some great landscape photos with HDR. The storage is one of the best qualities of the iPod. After 2 years of using this product 32 GB is enough to survive. During do two years I’ve taken more than 5,000 photos and it doesn’t run out of storage. The storage is perfect because Apple gives you 5 GB of iCloud. The storage doesn’t have to be only for photos but for music, games and documents. Lastly the software is the one of the best out there. When buying it you get the iOS 7 and it is the quickest software out there. The iOS 8 is more advances then the iOS 7. The 8 change the camera, the contacts, and the speed of the data and make the device smoother. The iPod can’t be a perfect product, so it comes with flaws. The iPod touch loop is no use to the device. To me when I first got it, it was useful, but after a while it was worthless. For some the loop is useful and a lifesaver. I would rate the loop a 5/10. Another problem is the battery, when you first buy it the battery is the best. But after time the battery starts to die off really quick. For me I charge it to 100% and throughout the same day it already needs charging. But the battery shouldn’t stop you from buying it. Lets get the point. Overall the iPod is a really well designed product fro an everyday use. The iPod has great qualities that make it one of the greatest products out there. Even though this product has its flaws, it doesn’t ruin the product. My overall rating is an 8/10. But you don’t to go with my review; its up to you like this was based on my experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Product This iPod has really become an important part of my life! The amazing camera is really useful for a random picture moment. It weighs much less than I expected and it's so easy to carry around. My iPod is so much fun to play games on, stream music, or use social media sites! I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a convenient handheld device.
