ARRIS / Motorola SBG6580 Cable Modem Wireless N Router - Black (570763-006-00) is rated 4.8235 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great modem and router! Took no time at all to install. Just called Comcast and got everything switched over. We were previously renting the modem/router from Comcast and didn't want to pay the monthly fee anymore. This one works just as good as the rental! Worth the buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install and works very good Easy to install and works very good. The only problem for me was to start wi-fi due to lack of clear instructions and because I was doing this myself for the first time. The best instructions I found on the motorola/arris website. But first I tried Comcast and it was my biggest mistake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good modem, average router This is basically the SB6141 with an integrated 802.11n router. Good if you like the idea of integrated, but you're better off to buy the standalone modem and a stand-alone router; otherwise, you'll have to replace the whole combo whenever you want to upgrade to a faster wireless standard or add separate devices for network storage and printing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, but instruction misprint No performance problems the only hiccup that prevents a 5 rating is that the instructions are misprinted and incorrectly state the default gateway password is "password" when in reality the correct default factory password was "motorola"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I bought this a few days before I moved into my home and the cable company came and hooked it all up. Super fast speed, perfection wireless connection especially for gaming and multiple devices on the wifi. I recommend this than renting boxes from companies. That's for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product! [...] Pros: 1. Faster than the rental modem router. 2. Strong Wi-Fi signal strength. 3. It is a modem router, so less hardware in your room yet powerful. 4. High-speed internet. 5. Easy set-up. Cons: 1. The default frequency is 2 GHz, although you get high-speed only after changing the frequency to 5 GHz. 2. The product doesn't come with the cable to connect to the internet port. Overall, it is an excellent product from Motorola. So, if you are looking to buy a new modem / router, don't hesitate to try this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Motorola SBG6580 Cable Modem Wireless N Router Three products in one: ultra-fast cable modem, 802.11n wireless access point, 4-port gigabit ethernet router. Easy setup once the local cable company activates account. I use all three parts and all work extremely well. Highly recommend. Target price was lower than all local competitors.
