I ordered this suit in a medium believing it is made for a non junior figure - I am 145lbs & 5' 7" - I could not get it over my hips. I would consider myself "curvy" . I do like the style and look - I am returning and ordering it in a larger size!!!
I love this swimsuit. It does run small though. I would normally wear a medium, but I purchased a large and it fits just fine. It does hold you in nicely and doesn't look like an old-fashioned skirt type suit, it looks kind of chic I think. I bought one last year in a polka dot and really liked it I only wish they offered more colors. I would recomend this highly, oh it also has "spanks" on the inside I was impressed at that, last years didn't have that brand of stretch inside, I thi nk that's why the price is a little higher, but well worth it.
I absolutley love this swimsuit! After having 2 kids, I had trouble finding a cute swimsuit that covered and tucked my flaws. I am about 5'7", 145 lbs, and usually wear a size 6-8. I bought this in a medium and it fits great! The swimsuit holds in your tummy, and you can also pull the skirt up and down... if you want to show or cover more. It's also modest on the top, and doesn't show too much cleavage like other halter tops can do. I feel sexy again with this swimsuit!
This is a great swim suit. It is modest, comfortable, and flattering. It covers figure faults perfectly and is the longest swim dress I have found. I wish the top was a little more substantial, but otherwise it is perfect.
I AM SUPER SELF CONSCOUS! I am not super overweight though. I just see my flaws all too well. Still, I have kept myself out of the pool for the past 3 or 4 summers because I couldn't find a bathing suit I could stand seeing myself in. I put this one on and honestly said out loud, "I love this bathing suit". I have NEVER said these words before. Try it on, you will not be disappointed.
I am pear shaped to begin with and I had a baby about 6 months ago. I still have about 10-15 lbs to lose. This swim dress covered all my trouble areas and I it is absolutely amazing how slim I look. I LOVE how long the skirt is. It is enough to cover my upper thighs I am 5'4" and you cannot see my baby belly at ALL. The person that designed the ruching and material is a genius ! I literally look 20 lbs thinner than any other swimsuit I have tried on and I DO NOT look matronly. This suit gives coverage and slimming without making you look like a granny ! I could not be happier with a swimsuit.
Love this suit and I ordered a small originally. I am a 125lb runner and wear 4's, this was too tight for me!! I was shocked that I had to order a medium. But love the swim suit overall.
I was looking for a new swimsuit since the one I did have I wore for the last four summers while being pregnant with my three kids, so I was in need of something that was stylish yet helped a bit in the tummy region. After reading the reviews I happened to be at a Target store and found the suit - so I thought why not lets give it a try. I couldn't believe how wonderful it fit and looked. I love the skirt look and you can pull it down or up a little if you want more leg to show. The halter on t op keeps everything in while running after three little ones at a pool. I would highly recommend this suit - great bathing suit for a great price! I did notice some reviews said to size up - but I stayed with my regular size and the suit fit perfectly.
BUY THIS SUIT!!! I love this suit!!! So figure flattering!! I am about 5'9" and 180lbs and usually wear an XL in most clothes. I bought this in an XL and it fits perfect. Not hard to get on at all like other reviews stated. The ruching is genius!! I am thick in the waist/stomach area and this suit gives me a great shape!! The only drawback in my opinion is the removable pads. When washed--they get folded up in there and are extremely hard to straighten back out. And if you take t hem out--good luck getting them back in there because the opening is only about 1 1/2 inches wide and thats it!! Maybe if they made wider openings on the side of the top it would be easier to take them in and out? Overall--I love this suit and am planning on getting it in another color as I only have the black one!!

This is the most flattering swimsuit I have ever worn. I am a middle-aged women, about a size 8 dress, but I can no longer wear revealing bathing suits. I was looking for something with more coverage that was fun and flattering, but would hide my not-so-young-anymore figure. I can't believe how great this suit looks - the photo doesn't do it justice. I have a straight, undefined figure with a not-so-flat stomach, and this suit actually gave me a flattering shape and conceals my tummy. There is ruching up both sides, and you can actually adjust the length of the skirt simply by pulling it down or hitching it up. (There aren't any strings to do this, but because the skirt is so fitted, and gathered at the sides, you can hitch it up and it stays put). When it's extended to full length, it is about the length of a longish mini dress, and provides much more coverage than a normal suit, or even that most swim dresses. But when hitched up, the skirt just about covers my behind. The halter top is comfortable and flattering, and the flirty ruffle at the bottom is a really fun and stylish touch. The suit has a 1940's movie-star kind of look. The sizing does seem to run very small. The size large fit me perfectly, and I am not a curvy girl. For those of you who want a flattering suit that keeps you covered but doesn't look matronly, this suit is perfect. It will give you some cuves, too! Well worth the money, and great for younger girls too who want something that isn't a bikini.
