My 2 year old got this as a birthday present. She LOVES all the little doors, matching the keys to the doors, putting animals in and out, playing doctor--all of it. The toy isn't always carefully built, though. The little latches get stuck easily, which frustrates her. When she has the right key in the right lock and it doesn't open, she gets confused about what's wrong. I'm also surprised that the animals that come with the toy are a bit big for the cages. We usually use other toys instead. Fi nally, the components don't all fit easily into the top part, which is a great idea (love toys that contain their own parts), so it takes a bit of maneuvering to get them all to fit.Overall, it seems clear that the toy would be great for an older child who can jiggle the doors and fit all the pieces inside by him or herself. The toy is great for my 2 year old who gets all the ideas and LOVES to play with it, but I have to sit there to help avoid meltdowns with the little snafus.
Critter Clinic is a captivating toy that challenges the imagination and impowers little ones to believe in themselves. They take "ownership" of their Critter Clinic for surprisingly long periods of time. A delightfully stimulating way to develop hand/eye coordination, key/door color recognition, manual dexterity, and sharpen fine motor skills. this is one of the few toys that i can find for kids that want to play "doctor" with the animals. it has a stethescope which my niece loves.
My son loved to play with my keys. When he started trying to put a key in the door lock, I looked for a toy that came with both a key and a lock.But it was not easy to find. And I found "B.clitter clinic" !!! My 15 months old son played it for 2 hours straight when I first gave it to him. He is now 18 months, and he still plays it often.
My sister bought this for my almost 3 year old and he loves it. My 18 month old is usually playing with it when the 3 yo is not. It's an overall excellent product.
My toddler loves this toy and it keeps her occupied for a long time. Its like 2 toys in one with all the Dr. tools and keys/doors.
this toy is so cool. Each little animal has its own private cage that opens with its own key. My daughter just loves it!

We first learned about this toy through my 2 year old sons speech therapist (its one of her favorite learning toys), she brought it over and he LOVED it, so we had to go out and buy it. It is great for labeling/matching colors, teaching open/close/lock/in/out, labeling animals etc. We don't really use the veterinarian tools yet as we are mainly teaching the other concepts- but he loves to wear the stethoscope, and we like to add other little animals to the kit! Its also a great toy that parents can enjoy too, there is only so much I can do with cars/trains with my son, this is something we can play with together for a while and play with in differerent ways.
